I was born in Netherland and now I'm living in Rome, after been living in Venice. I like to travel
We very much enjoyed our stay at Isabella's bright and cheery apartment. We called her when we left the airport, and she and her husband (whose name I forgot) met us at the apartment. He helped us get our luggage upstairs using the elevator (which holds two people or one person and one suitcase). They showed us around the apartment and how everything worked. They also gave us a map of Rome and pointed out some nearby places such as the grocery store, some restaurants and gelaterias, and sites to see. (I'll list some of our recommendations below.) Isabella was very responsive when we reserved the apartment and before our arrival. I also emailed a question to her the day after we arrived (a Sunday) and got a prompt response. The apartment is exactly as described. The windows provide a lot of light and can be opened to get fresh air. The traffic below can be a bit noisy, though we were able to limit this when necessary by closing the windows on that side of the apartment. As others have mentioned, the water pressure in the shower is quite low. This was not a problem for me, but it needed some extra effort from the women with long hair. More of a problem was that often (but not always) the water temperature would not stay constant and needed readjustment while showering. All the other facilities were fine. We did not use the washer and only heated some food in the oven. The WiFi is a bit spotty, but it simply required moving around a bit. Otherwise, it worked well and was reliable. The refrigerator is ample size. The apartment is very well located. It is possible to walk to almost anywhere in the historical area of Rome, and it is close to two metro stations. It is also close to Termini train station, the main station in Rome, including a direct train to the main airport. We did not use any busses, but many pass by the apartment and others end at Termini. There are a number of sites nearby, including the Baths of Diocletian, the National Museum of Rome, and several interesting churches. The grocery store is four blocks away. It is open evenings (I think until 8pm) and even Sunday morning. There are specialty shops in the area as well. If you want to eat in the apartment but not prepare your own food, there's a nice store on via Flavia with prepared hot foods, bread, deli meat, pastries, drinks and some packaged foods. There are three excellent places for gelato within about 10 minutes walk. Try them all! Our favorite was Come il Latte at via Spaventa 24/26. Besides a variety of excellent gelato flavors, they had several non-dairy sorbets. And each serving is topped with some chocolate (white or dark) from their continuously running chocolate faucets. The other two are Gelateria La Romana (often has a line in the evening) and I Caruso. We found...
Our group of 4 travelers absolutely loved Isabella's property! It was modern, well located (near main subway station and the best gelato spot) and maintained. We would recommend this property and were very happy with our interaction with Isabella - who warmly greeted us upon arrival and provided dining suggestions and answered all our questions with ease. Happy travels :)
Isabella was so helpful, her apt was lovely and an easy walk to major sites. I would recommend a stay here in an instant!
Our group of 4 (two couples) had a comfortable stay at this apartment. There was lots of room for all, and we didn't even need to use the extra bedroom. Upon arrival, we were amicably greeted by Carlos, and thoroughly introduced to the apartment. Within the apartment, we were provided with lots of information about both the surrounding area and Rome in general. Located near the Repubblica station, we were able to visit all the sights around Rome by foot. The only issue we faced is that the bathroom was prone to a bit of flooding, and that the showers' water pressure as a bit low. Aside from that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.
My stay at Isabella´s flat has been very well, comfortable, near places to see. I will repeat it.
I stayed in Isabella's apartment for 4 nights as part of a group of 4 people. The apartment is the perfect size for this number. Any more could be a bit tight.
It was clean, modern and well equipped. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and has everything you need to get settled, like a deli, supermarket, bakery and a few average restaurants. Termini station is an easy walk and this connects you to most of the must-see locations.
Isabella met us at the agreed time and gave an excellent introduction to the apartment.
The only issue is poor water pressure in the shower. It took about 10 seconds to fill my cupped hands. Having said this, it's an apartment on a high floor in an old building in Italy. Poor water pressure is to be expected.
We definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again.
Great, spacious, safe, clean apartment with an excellent host. Very well located (close to Termini station) and reasonably priced. Be aware that wifi is capped to 500mb/d (enough for general browsing), two bedrooms are on the side of quite busy street (noise in the mornings). Kitchen is well equipped. Also there is no TV set in the apartment, but you won't be watching it in such beautiful city anyway. You must try the best gelato in Rome: Gelateria La Romana Roma Ventisettembre, whic is located 3 min from apartment!
Mooi appartement in een rustige omgeving. Praktisch gelegen op loopafstand van het treinstation en stopplek voor de shuttlebussen van de luchthaven. De douche verdient enige verbetering maar verder prima.
The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It has everything what you need when staying for few days.
Location is really good- we reached all places in Rome walking (only Vatican by metro). And Isabella is very helpful and kind person.
I do recommend the place!
Isabella and Francesca are very nice and they were respecful of the studio.
