I'm an artist! I love to travel and entertain.
Riley made us feel very welcome - she called beforehand to check if we had any questions, and emailed us the information as well. We enjoyed staying at her space. It's in a great location, near a lot of cool spots but also close to downtown. Very cozy.
We had a great time. Riley's place is cute, funky and had everything we needed and in the heart of a fun neighborhood. Great place from which to experience Austin! Riley was very accommodating and I love that she is pet-friendly!
Riley was very friendly and communicative, with a very well prepped apartment in a wonderful and convenient neighborhood of South Austin. There were plenty of supplies that we needed and she provided just the right balance of privacy and accommodation.
Great space! Funky and cool. Hours of artifacts to look through. Super comfy bed. Great location on SoCo too!
Beautiful little studio in a great little part of Austin. We had a great time and were very comfortable. I'd recommend to all my friends!
Riley was a gracious and accommodating hostess! Her home was comforting, charming and a good respite after our long days trekking through Austin. It was nice to come home and relax in the cushy bed while taking advantage of the free WiFi. There was an empty closet for our things, coffee in the freezer and fresh cut flowers in the bathroom.
We went for my Birthday and when we got there there was a birthday card from Riley. It was the little things like that that helped make our trip so memorable. She also gave us great recommendations on where to rent bikes, eat and hang out.
The apartment is right near a bus stop on South Congress and within walking distance to great restaurants and cute shops. For reference it's about 2 1/2 miles south from The Capital and 2 1/2 miles southeast from Zilker Park.
While my boyfriend and I chose to walk/bike most places and use Uber we both decided that next time we would rent a car to get around the city as a lot of things are pretty spread out.
We definitely look forward to coming back to stay at Riley's Artist Studio Apartment again!
Literally the best location you can find for visiting Austin: steps away from the S. Congress Ave where you can find lots of great restaurants cafés and interesting shops, and the house itself is in a small quaint street and you can park for free. Speaking of the house, it is so beautifully decorated and we love every little details in there! So artistic&comfy. Riley is very sweet and nice to talk to. A great host! Thank you a great time staying in your house and we are definitely thinking of coming back!
The apartment was perfect! Clean with fun and unique decorations with a true Austin feel. The location was perfect- within walking distance to South Congress shops and restaurants. Riley gave us suggestions for things to do in the city and gave good directions so we were able to find the apartment without difficulty. Wonderful host and wonderful apartment! Only wish we could have stayed longer!
Riley called a few days ahead to connect with us on the phone and was very nice and welcoming of our visit. We did not have an opportunity to really connect with her while we were in Austin other that to greet in passing. We enjoyed our stay at this funky cool artistic unique space. If you love these characteristics you will love Riley place!
The location is excellent if you want to explore the South Congress area and still very close to down town Austin.
This was our first experience with Airbnb, so we didn't know quite what to expect. Riley was so very helpful and kept good, clear communication. Her apartment is in an amazing location - right at the south end of the South Congress neighborhood. There is a large deck outside, and the apartment is nestled under a big, beautiful shade tree. The apartment is perfectly sized for one or two people, and the double bed is very comfortable. We slept great. Even though it's just a couple of hundred feet off of South Congress, it's reasonably quiet. We did not meet Riley in person, she is obviously and artist, and has so much fun stuff to enjoy. We would gladly stay in her place again.
