I am married to Wendy and have been for 30 years next January (2013) and Wendy is not yet 50 and I have achieved that magical milestone. We have three grown children, two married and the last soon to be in Dec 2012. Wendy and I love each other's company and have built our marriage on our beliefs centred in the Bible. We love travel, geocaching, cruising, camping and basically anything that gets us outdoors enjoying everything that this life has to offer. My professional life was crafted as a military pilot and I have spent the ten years working in aeromedicine. However the life of excitement in this kind of career is coming to an end as the travel has taken its toll and I miss not spending time with my family. Some sort of semi-retirement is being contemplated. Never thought I would be saying that at the ripe old (young??) age of 51. Wendy has for her life been a full time Mum but since our kids have flown the coop she has completed a degree in Counselling and is busy articulating that into more post graduate qualifications in the form of a Masters. She works in the field of counselling and has a keen focus on conflict coaching and resolution. She loves the work and the impact it has on relationships.

We have some experiences of B and B's after living in the UK for 3 years however our more recent experiences have been just booking Hotels. But we enjoy the human interaction with people so looking forward to using sites such as this to broaden our life experiences and friendships further.

Life motto - well whilst I am human and fret about the past and worry about the future as much as anyone we do need to live in the only moment we have - NOW!! I especially like a quote by Charlie Jones - if you can't be happy where you are you won't be happy where you ain't. Or something along those lines.
