Easy going fun person with a lot of space to share. Love meeting new people and sharing the island jewels with them. I love Kauai and you will be informed of my favorite spots on island. Outgoing and easy going love living in community.
Great place to stay, wonderful location in north kauai.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the Pele room. Being a communal living space, the people we met were all very nice. All the communal areas and especially the pool area make for a beautiful space. The communal kitchen is fully stocked for cooking just about anything and has plenty of shelf and refrigerator/freezer space for all.
The sanctuary is a very informal place to stay. We arrived at night, it was rather dark, and we weren't sure where to go. After a few minutes of wandering around, somebody came down to the kitchen and showed us where our room was and then went on their way. Eventually, we noticed various signs around the kitchen explaining house rules and such. While this wasn't really a problem, it is not the most welcoming way to enter somebody's home.
Absolutely Excellent. Amazing Place in an Amazing location with an Amazing host and staff here.
I travel A LOT and this was the best place I've stayed in off AirBNB.
If you are coming to Kauai and thinking or on the fence about where to stay - STOP NOW - and BOOK THIS PLACE if it's still available - you will absolutely love it.
I chose to stay here because, as a woman traveling alone, it sounded safe and tranquil, with potential to meet interesting people. It was perfect! I was very comfortable there. This room is sweet and has a great bathroom and large open shower. It is off a dirt road, surrounded by large palms and fields, and is very quiet, aside from the roosters crowing (everywhere in Kauai!). A great place to do stargazing! The place has a very peaceful feeling, and I enjoyed meditating by the beautiful pool in the morning.
It is a home and members of the small community there are working communally to take care of the space and grounds. People are using the space to work on their laptops during the day, and stretch or meditate in the temple area. It is warm and welcoming, but it certainly is not a hotel or resort setting! Guests can use the kitchen, for example, but not even coffee/tea is provided in the morning.
I was fine with this, being interested in getting out to Hanalei Bay and other locations nearby to spend the day.
Tiffany is a warm, amazing host. The whole place is carefully tended but still has a lovely relaxed feeling about it.
The whole house is a beautiful place with lots of space and beautiful decorations everywhere. We stayed at the breezy Laka room which was awesome. Its like sleeping right under the nightsky stars. Only the chickens from the neighborhood in the morning are annoying-dont forget your earplugs :) Shared bathroom was beautifu too.
Lots of nice interesting people staying there and the host Tiffany is such a very nice and uncomplicated person.
would love to stay here again!
Tiffany's place was beautiful. Off the beaten path far enough that you feel like you are really out there, but also convenient to drive to the sights on the north shore. We loved the pool and the star gazing.
A few things to be aware of - no lock on the door. This makes the place feel inviting, but some may be uncomfortable with this. During our stay we actually never met Tiffany, there were a few of her friends staying on the property that were able to help us settle in and Tiffany had left good instructions and resources about the house and the island.
All in all a great place to stay on Kaua'i. I'd stay here again if I find myself back on the island.
Fabulous home/museum. Amazing decor and goddess collection. Nice people, well organized facilities. Only bummer was that the shared bath is apparently the only one downstairs, which ends up serving quite a few people. Not a big deal, given how beautiful the room and grounds are.
My stay was filled with enthusiasm and joy within the residence and on the north shore. I was able to drive to the local noteable sights and the host community members were very helpful with any questions/need. The space offered solitude, communal living, cleanly, and my room had a positive theme. The manson has new age themes and is an upgraded environment. The pool and hot tube is for visual view only. Parking is available and easy. I felt totally safe and welcomed. The host is a wealth of positive support for your personal journey.I highly recommend this experience to those who will appreciate a more expansive experience and to those who would like the usual. I did eat out but the kitchen is available.. You can experience both and the people are nice/friendly.
More than lived up to the previous reviews, not for those seeking privacy or solitude. A shared and communal experience that we will remember fondly!
Tiffany has a beautiful heart! You will leave her Temple a changed person. She also knows alot about the Island and can direct you where ever you need to go. I can't think of a better place to stay when you go to Kauai.
