I'm a model / actress, born in Virginia but spent the majority of my life in Europe. I moved to LA from London 6 years ago with my 2 kids, Harley D. and Phoenix. We're a very easy-going, fun family :)

Angie was very friendly and helpful the whole time, and provided all the amenities one could want. The guest house was nicely-decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked, with a beautiful private, quiet back yard complete with orange and lemon trees. The neighborhood was nice, and street parking was never hard to find. All around a very good experience. I would highly recommend Angie to anyone.
I could not be happier with this experience. The place is a clean, comfortable, quiet, little guest house, right near anything you need in Los Feliz. It's, bright in the living room, nicely shaded in the bedroom, modern bathroom & appliances; and Angie was a GREAT host. Very friendly, great communication, was there to say hi or get anything I needed but also allowed us privacy - really, just five stars all around. I sincerely hope to be back.
When both the lovely host and wonderful accommodations become the (unplanned) centerpiece of your stay, there is nothing more that we could give Angie than an enthusiastic rave. From beginning to end, our stay with her was a joy. Not only was her guesthouse as comfortable, clean, and relaxing as the pictures suggest but we made a wonderful connection with our host. Certainly, I don't expect everyone to bond as we did but we made a great (and fast) friend with whom we look forward to seeing on our next trip(s) to Los Angeles.
Basic facts: Our check-in was seamless and the simple instructions for everything in the guesthouse were clear. The fresh lemons and oranges outside our front door were a nice plus (for our morning tea) and the guesthouse was cool and relaxing - it was in the 90s the five days we were there. Los Feliz is a wonderful neighborhood and we were literally minutes from dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, and basic services (7-11, post office, banks). Part of me doesn't want to rate our accommodations TOO highly for fear of it being unavailable when we visit LA the next time but that would be doing a disservice to anyone who wants the opportunity to enjoy such a relaxing AirBnB.
Angie was the perfect hostess. She met us at the home, instructed us on the facilities, and was helpful and pleasant whenever we saw her at the property. The guesthouse was clean, new, quiet, with everything we needed for a great visit with our son who lives in the neighborhood. The neighborhood of Los Feliz is one of LA's nicest, with plenty to do and places to eat and drink. Griffith Park is a short car ride away and we took two lovely walks there during our stay. The location of the guesthouse in the neighborhood is ideal for the entertainment and food on Vermont Ave, the social and commercial center of the neighborhood. We would stay there again. Thanks, Angie for the use of your lovely guesthouse.
This is a wonderful place to stay in Los Angeles! I spent two and a half months here, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Angie is a very welcoming host, while respecting your privacy. When I had a few small problems or queries, she responded straight away and did everything she could to sort them out with minimal disruption to me. The area is absolutely lovely, with lots of vintage shops, cafes and restaurants, and it is within walking distance of Griffith Park. You can even see the Observatory from the street! The street is quiet and the neighborhood is safe. For walking and public transport, it couldn't be more convenient. I would certainly stay here again, given the chance! Thank you, Angie, for helping me to have an amazing time in L.A. I miss the guesthouse already!
The neighborhood was great- it's one of the only "walking" neighborhoods in LA. And, Angie, our host was just as great! She was so sweet & readily available when I had any questions. The guest house is super cute & I love the fact that it has a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Angie also has these amazing lime trees out front & Angie was more than happy for us to take some limes back home with us! Parking on the street was easy as well. Overall, this was a great place to stay!
Have wi-fi only for a sec... but this to say that we had a FABULOUS time in Angie's guesthouse. We barely noticed the fact that she was closing the sale of her house--she had/has absolutely no reason to feel badly on our behalf. On the contrary, we admire her so much for being so gracious, positive, funny and warm: you'd never guess the big disruptions going on in her family's lives just then. She even bought us a bottle of rare vodka (for Canadians): that's how thoughtful she is! The house: AH!!! Love the mod design aesthetic; it was very clean, well-appointed, comfy (great shower, dishwasher, etc.). Plus perfect for anyone coming to work in LA with outlets in all the right places, adjustable lighting, and more. So sorry she is leaving but hope she'll have us at her next guesthouse: we'll def. look to stay with her again!
Angie's hospitality and beautiful property were bar none. We really fell in love with the guesthouse and felt right home. Its centrally located and there was always street parking, which is godsend in LA. Cant say enough about our time there. Really enjoyed it! Cant wait to visit again
We had an amazing stay in this wonderful property. Close to everything you need and Angie was soo friendly. If your looking for great place and great location in LA this is for you.
Ok, so basically...
I felt SO at home, it feels like there's a bunch of people that's gonna be renting MY place now! ;)
In all seriousness, the guesthouse is perfect. In every way.
It's roomy, comfortable, got a full kitchen and the bathroom's got a big nice shower. Everything's fresh and feels new.
I guarantee that it's three times as cosy as any hotel for a third of the price it would cost you. It couldn't be a sweeter deal, really.
And the location is perfect! Weather you're going north or south on the freeway or to see the sights of L.A / Hollywood - this is an optimal position to start from.
Angie is the perfect host. If you need anything, she is there in a second helping you out. She also has a parking permit for you which is very nice to not have to think about.
I travelled alone, but it will be more than enough for 2 people to live in too.
I could go on forever about how happy I am making the choice to book my 2 weeks in L.A at Angie's guesthouse - but I'm just gonna tell you to BOOK IT - if it's free. You won't regret it.
Such amazing guests! Would gladly welcome them back anytime. Love doing business with you Angie, you're great! Thank you for the business.
