It was a joy and a pleasure to host John. He was extremely organized and kept me well informed of his arrival and departure. I would recommend John to any host looking for a courteous, friendly and responsible guest.
John was a pleasure to host at my place...he came in for business on a Sunday evening and stayed through Friday morning. He was very laid back and easy to have a conversation with. Unfortunately we both had busy schedules during the week so I only saw him twice. The first time is when he checked in and the second was the night before he departed. In between those times, I never even would have know he was downstairs as he was really low key and quiet. I would gladly host him again if he were to request a stay at my place. He treated my place as if t were his apartment. Everything was in order when he left and didn't have to clean a whole lot. He and his wife are also avid bikers and kayakers so we instantly bonded through those activities.
Please don't hesitate to accept his request to stay at your place in the future, I certainly won't!
John is an excellent guest. Very friendly and easy to talk to, I enjoyed having him stay in my home. He treated my home as if it was his own and was able to talk about everything from hockey to dark energy, helping me a lot with both subjects! I look forward to his next stay.
John has rented a room in my house on two different occasions when his work brought him to Washington, DC. He is a fantastic housemate...we know that all Minnesotans are above average, as noted by Garrison Keillor, but John really, really is. We hope he will stay with us again in the future.
