The house was very nice, confortable and have everything you need. Has a beautiful view!!!! The neighborhood is very nice too. Luigi is very helpful and friendly!!! I recommend!!! Thank you. Luigi!!!
Very nice host,
super helpful - even with very late pick up and navigation around area.
Could be a bit cleaner though and no towels/soap or any kind of basics.
First and foremost Luigi was very responsive prior to acceptance, during our stay and definitely up through our departure. The cost included pick up which was reasonable and he even offered to take us to the airport for our return flight at a great price too. The apt was near a couple bus lines into downtown which was convenient. Along with the supermarket down the hill for groceries. The pizzeria also in that same complex is great and the owners friendly (there is wifi there too when you ask). The Tavern near the church has great food and wine. In either case, know that the eating establishments there open at 1600. The cafés and bars are open earlier, so definitely stock up at the grocery store. The apt has basic necessities, though it did not have a coffee pot or cups, but we boiled the water in a small pot and used the cereal bowls so it was like a couple of large lattes! The wifi was great especially for my teens and husband who had an online test. The temperature of the apt maintained at 21, so a bit chilly but with all the blankets provided it was warm. The second bed was the living room couch, and decently met the usage for our teens, but for bigger kids best really for one or another adult. The view was awesome for the sunrises! And being Catholic, the church down the road for rosary and Sunday mass in Italian is a great experience.
We wanted to go to Rome for the day and Luigi in earlier communication provided the website and pricing as well as recommendation on which between bus and train. Bus is actually faster and basically you take the local bus to the Centrale Station/terminal and purchase tickets for a charter bus (15€ each way for 13yr plus 7€ for 12 and under; or 10€ flat one way on the 0700 bus to Rome) to Rome Tiburina station then we bought a day pass (6€) that can be used on train/metro/bus.
On Sunday there was a power outage that lasted 3-hours but luckily it was church day so didn't affect us. The downtown shopping/area is a great stroll and window shopping towards the beach.
When we departed my son had left his iPhone and we contacted Luigi, he was kind to check the apt and drop off to us at the airport, luckily we had gone early to the airport. All in all a great experience and family time in the apt as well as Pescara and Rome was awesome!
Nice apartment, well located. Attentive hosts when needed.
Luigi was very acommodating and really kind. The apartment has a nice modern bathroom.
I stayed there so I could do the Ironman 70.3...the apartment had a great view, large deck and was very comfortable. It was very handy to bus and shopping and was about a 45 minute walk to the beach and race site (once you figured out the route). Luigi was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was not well stocked, no dish soap, dish towels, toilet paper etc but all in all, a very pleasant stay...plus I rocked the race :) ....
Me and my boyfriend spent a perfect week in Pescara in Luigi's apartment. The apartment exceed our expectations since it definitely looks better in reality than in the pics. It is completely new and furnished, there is a mashing machine, mop, broomstick, small things to keep it clean. The kitchen is also nicely equipped. Also, it was very clean when we arrived.
The terrace is big and has a great view over the city as the building is on a high hill - perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and late dinners.
There is a supermarket and a bus stop exactly in front of the place. It takes 10-15 min by bus to get to the seaside. The area is very nice and quiet, way better than in the center of the city.
Luigi was a perfect host, picking us up and taking us back to the airport. Also, he was always quick if we had any sort of demands.
We would any time come back to this place since we had such a lovely experience overall!
Appartamento quasi nuovo e comodo.
Comunque, posto consigliato a coppie e singles!
I came to Pescara, Italy to compete in the Ironman triathlon. Luigi's apartment was a great stay for me. I was able to train and check out the beautiful city of Pescara. The apartment is a large one bedroom with a living room and kitchen. It is new and modern. It is situated in Peacara colli just outside of the center (20 minute walk or 5 mins by car). This is a good option if you are a family or group and dont want to break the bank at a hotel. Luigi is a friendly guy and will do what ever he can to help you out.
