I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Shauna's place... such a welcoming and charming host, I really enjoyed the brief time we spent together. The cats are adorable and friendly. Awesome shower, too!
I really enjoyed it at her place. From the location itself to the cats, it felt like home. Shauna is a very nice and chatty person. Thanks for being my first pivot to the US.
Shauna an Professor (Shauna's bigger cat) were very nice hosts! Her house is cozy and comfortable. The room as well as the private bathroom are wide and clean; the U metro station is just 5 min walk.
Shauna is interesting, always available, talkative and she has four awesome sized cats (professor was our fat-vourite!). She also let us stay in the room until 6pm for we had to leave late night.
We certainly recommend her!!
Shauna has a beautiful place in DC. It is conveniently located near U street, clean and cozy. Her cats gave us the most warm welcome and made us feel home :)
Stephen was really nice and provided us with useful information about about the area.
Shauna was awesome - friendly and cool, and while away (she welcomed me the Sunday I arrived in DC), her bf Steven was at home.
Room was clean, with great private shower/bathroom, everything was tidy.
The area looked quiet, lots of students from Howard Univ, and U St metro station was within 10 mins of walk, so very convenient.
But the actual owners of the flat are her amazing cats :-)
Shauna was always kind and with almost online time answered all my doubts. The house is nice and we were welcome by most of her lovely cats. The room was comfortable but not that big if you are carrying some big luggage. The private bathroom is super cool and the shower is awesome. The location is close to the U street wich is a very nice spot to eat and go to the metro station.
Thanks to Shauna and her boyfriend for a warm welcome to Washington DC.
Shauna was a great host. The cats were awesomely big. Close to great food places, and to Howard University. The block the house is on is in the process of being redeveloped so looks a bit odd at the moment.
This was a fun house, fun people, and a fun neighborhood. Even the cats were fun. I'd highly recommend!
Shauna was a great host, very friendly, understanding, responded pretty quickly to all our questions, had great recommendations, and kindly offered us snacks when my boyfriend got sick during our trip.
The guest room/bathroom are in photos 5,6, and 8 (where the bed has gray pillows). The bedroom looks quite different (not as spacious because there was more furniture/stuff), but we loved the spa bathroom. That was probably our favorite part. The bathroom was also spotless.
The neighborhood is interesting, pretty convenient and walkable to U street, although the vibe of the neighborhood changes a little in the few immediate blocks around her house.
The cats were really cute and sweet! Especially professor!
Shauna was both an awesome host and really fun to hang out with! The room was really nice as well. As long as you like cats I fully recommend staying here!
Shauna was a great guest. She was very easy to communicate with, respectful of my place and left it in great shape! I'd welcome her back any time!
Shauna was a super nice gal and welcome back anytime.
Shauna was a great, pleasant guest. Unfortunately I never got to meet her, but messages with her were always positive and enjoyable. She left the space extremely clean, and was always very respectful and communicative.
Shauna is a delightful guest. We'd have her stay again in a heartbeat. She was thoughtful, respectful, and has a great sense of humor.
Shauna was a great guest, Overall super independent and easy going, they left the room in perfect conditions, I highly recommend her! :)
I did not personally meet Shauna, but everything seemed to be working out fine.
Delightful, thoughtful, intelligent traveller, who knew how to get the most out of her visit. An easy guest and always welcome back.
Shauna is an easy-going and dynamic individual who lives life right. She has a deep and empathetic respect for other people, a natural way with engaging others, and a lightness to her spirit. Shauna is the kind of well-traveled, well-loved person you'd hope to cross paths with on a trip and stay connected to forever. I highly recommend Shauna as both an AirBnB guest and host (she has an adorable, comfortable home) and give my word you'll be glad to meet her.
