Had a wonderful 3 days stay at this villa facing the blue sea & just a few steps away from the famous blue domes. Fanis arranged the airport transfer for our group from the airport & met us in the area where it is inaccessible by car. The walk to the villa is fine but the steps going to the cave-house is very steep so be ready with your comfy sneakers. We arrived around 9:30pm & there was some complimentary wine & a bottle of water waiting for us. The shops were all closed so we were starving that night. Requested for an extra bed with no extra cost so that was great. Also there was a porter that helped us with the bags to & fro. It was cleaned once with our scarves shaped like a heart (awww). Many thanks for the great time. Highly recommended!
We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Stones villa! It really felt like a home away from home. Even though we never met Fanis & Tina, they both made us feel very welcome and were available to contact at any time for help and advice. I was always texting/talking to them on the phone, asking for their advice and recommendations for places to go and they always replied promptly with plenty of info and local knowledge. The cave house was cosy, clean and very well kept with plenty of space for my partner and I to stay. The kitchen had all the amenities you need, the bathroom was so cute with a nice shower and the whole place was cleaned thoroughly every day. I really didn't want to leave at the end of our stay, it felt like our little Santorini home! And I haven't even got to the best part yet... The view!! Oh my goodness the view is unbelievably beautiful, words cannot describe how stunning it is. Every morning we would wake up and go straight to the little sitting area at the front of the house and have breakfast. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen whilst eating a bowl of Cornflakes! The house also has a lovely sun lounging area which was fantastic for soaking up the sun and the view. It's so peaceful here, which was another of the things we both loved about this place. It really feels like paradise, everything is so calm and quiet, it's a wonderful place to come and relax and unwind. Santorini is such a beautiful island, and this house is the perfect place to stay to experience it! Overall I would highly recommend The Little Stones villa, we loved every moment of our stay here and we can't wait to come back! :)
My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVED this place. We can't recommend it enough! First off, Tina is a wonderful host! (We never met Fanis). She arranged our transport from the port to the place, where there was a porter waiting to take our bags down. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and water, and she recommended places to go and gave us tips. The place itself is spectacular. So clean, bright, and open. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The views are absolutely amazing!! I would stay here alone just for the views!! Something that I did not expect, but we even got to see the sunset from the top terrace (however, I wouldn't expect to see this during the summer months, I think we could only see it because its location in October). The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner (we made breakfast every morning and had dinner there 3 nights). I loved this place and would definitely go back!!
Fanis was a very good host. He organised transport to and from the airport and also a lovely gentleman who carried our heavy bags down to the apartment and then back again. Fanis greeted us at the apartment after work and gave us a rundown about the apartment and the island of Santorini. He gave us tips on places to visit and where to eat. The apartment is great. Exactly like the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the showers hot and the balconies have views to die for. Would definitely stay again.
We had a nice stay at the villa. Tina was very helpful and I'd definitely recommend letting her arrange the airport transfer - the porter is very sweet and prompt! The views were spectacular - I think it's the best combination of being close to Fira (a really short walk or bus ride) while being high enough to really look out over the caldera (if you are thinking of staying in Oia).
Imerovigli has plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and car rental shops. The villa is very close to the bus stop (I highly recommend the bus system, at least in the low season), as well as cafes/bars that are setup for the sole purpose watching the sun set (from the doorway, take a right and keep walking). Keep in mind there are more places to eat/drink than just on the main road - you can even get coffee at the hotel right next to the villa. We also hiked Skaros Rock one morning and it was so much fun. People actually take the bus to Imerovigli just to hike Skaros and watch the sunset, but it is a very short walk from your front door if you stay here!
Make sure you look at the photos carefully. When you walk in the front door you are immediately in the master bedroom/dining area. There are no doors except the front door and the door to the bathroom. You also have to walk through the second "bedroom" to go to the bathroom. It makes for a cozy and intimate environment, but if you are looking for absolute privacy, this wouldn't be a good fit (although I think a lot of cave houses are like this).
All in all, this is a really nice place to stay on the island, and I would definitely recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay at the 3 Stones villa. It is modern, spacious and the upstairs bedroom makes for a private retreat. Tina made herself available for any assistance and was there to meet us on arrival. She was flexible with check in time gave us advice on places to eat and see and was happy to provide us with things we asked for. Imerovigili is great location quiet, beautiful views, close to the main centre by bus or car with restuarants and mini marts close by.Tina also assisted us with booking transport to the airport
The house is lovely, equipped with the fundamentals (microwave, fridge) and some small luxuries (satellite tv and air conditioner). It's located in a beautiful part of the island as well, with super markets, restaurants and car rental services close by. Cleaning service was daily and we didn't have to worry about a thing.
Fanis met with us on the first day and gave us advice on where to go and which places to avoid (too turistic) and also proposed a couple of good tours to go on. We met Tina later on and both were attentive hosts always reachable and available to make any arrangements necessary (they booked us a tour and both our transfers from and to the airport).
My vacation to The Marble Sun villa in Oia was paradise and one that I'll never forget. I travelled to Santorini in a group of 4 (2 couples). We stayed for approximately 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it.
Fanis & Tina were fantastic hosts for our stay in Oia, arranging transfer to and from the airport, helping us navigate the island and the things to do once we arrived, and even making reservations for an excursion for our group. I didn't expect that they'd be so accommodating and available for questions during our stay. We managed to lock ourselves out of the villa on the first night and they were there right away to let us back in. (Sorry again Tina!)
What's more, the villa was cleaned every day while we were out sightseeing and enjoying the area so it felt as though it was a hybrid of a cozy quiet setting with the service of a luxury hotel.
In terms of location, it doesn't get much better. The village is set just a short walk from the main road and the picturesque view you often see of Oia could be taken from the balcony at The Marble Sun. There are lots of restaurants and shopping destinations nearby and you can easily rent Quads/ATVs/Cars from nearby and venture out to the rest of the island.
Fanis & Tina have really raised the bar for what I'll expect from airbnb stays in the future. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Santorini as it offers plenty of relaxation, nearby sights and destinations, as well as lots of activity based experiences for those looking for some adventure.
Lovely lovely place along the main walking stretch to Fira - takes about 20 mins. A couple of restaurants nearby and about 3 supermarket within walking distance.
Fanis was really friendly, came to share with us where to go for food and how to get around! The bed was really comfy too!
The open patio is great for enjoying the panoramic views but do note that it can be busy with people walking along the main walking path but that didn't bother us!
The Marble House is one of the best choices ever!
The house is stunning. It is located very closed to main st. in Oia, but fare away enough to enjoy the silence of this paradise.
The balcony offers you an indescribable experience. Yo have just sit over there, and let the deepness of the caldera get into you.
The sounds of the silence, and the blue of the sea are experiences that you might try at least once in your life!.
The "Marble House" is a cozy and comfortable house. It had all the tradition of the caves, but all the commodities of the present.
The hall embraces you warmly. It is an appetizer of what you are going to enjoy in the house. Simplicity and good taste. This two words capture the spirit of the whole decoration.
For couples, or friends, it is a experience that I really recommend. It worth it!.
As Fanis is a great friend I am sure he is a great host as well. I have stayed several times at the Marble Sun in Oia, and the place is more than a fantastic choice for those who want to visit Santorini island. The village Oia is of an outstanding charm and the house itself has an amazing view to the "kaldera", it has all the comforts, and it is simply such a cozy place for having a great holiday! Quite for this crowed island, near to the castle(you can see it from the veranda) where you can go down the stairs and have a nice swim in a rocky impressive beach.
The problem is the house is so nice you almost don't want to go out! A great choice for going there as a couple or with several friends,i've tried both:-)
Fani, I'm coming back:-)
