Really nice house, perfect location in Oia, I think it's difficult to find better! Fanis was a perfect host and made everything really easy and pleasant, from the airport transfer to the good tips about the best restaurants in town.
We didn't really appreciate the terrasse, as the weather wasn't has good as it normally is, but if you have any doubt, the pictures speak for themselves.
I will probably come back in the same house for my next stay in this paradise.
very nice place to live in Oia! Our first experience with Airbnb and we really enjoy it. Finis and Tina are really kind they arranged port guy help with the luggage from station to the house and taxi drive us to the airport.
The genuine cave house is pretty, and the view is wonderful. At a clear night we could see many stars in the sky. Tina arranged transfers for us, had a porter to carry our baggage, and met us in person at the house. She recommended places of interest and took us to the main street for orientation. During our stay, we communicated via Whatsapp. She's a helpful and efficient hostess. Thanks a lot, Tina!
In word, "magical." The pictures do not do this place justice. Tina and Fanis helped us arrange airport transfers which really reduced travel stress. Once we arrived a very nice woman met us (sorry, I forgot her name) and walked us through the unit. They also provided some information on things to do on the island and contact information if we needed anything during our stay.
Imerovigli is centrally located between Fira and Oia, making it the perfect spot to feel at home on the island, out of the high traffic tourist area and yet still part of the action.
I cannot wait to return to Santorini and will certainly look at staying here again. Thanks Tina and Fanis for sharing your place and making our stay amazing.
Our stay with Fanis and Tina was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, the view is unreal, and the apartment is lovely. We would definitely recommend coming during the summer when warm weather is guaranteed, but Fanis and Tina accommodated us incredibly well given the weather circumstances!
This was such a magical and lovely place to stay in. It's exactly as pictured, is cosy and the view every morning is amazing. Fanis met us and had a porter help with our bags. He also helpfully pointed out places we could visit and nearby supermarkets and restaurants. He arranged our airport transfer and recommended a car hire company. It was nice to have a cleaner come in daily. We would highly recommend this villa.
Santorini is a dream island, unlike anything my travelling companion and I had ever seen before. This little cave apartment is an ideal place to enjoy the best of the island. The private deck is a wonderful place to greet the day (my friend did yoga every morning in the sun) and watch the sunset. The apartment is cool, which was not so great for us since the temperature in March is around 20C, but would be a haven in the hot summer months. Our host Fanis was a dream: he saved us when we got terribly lost (late night, thin sweaters, turning in circles; Fanis not only found us, but he picked us up in his car and drove us to the apartment. He didn't even laugh at the fact that we were in the wrong village...). Fanis provided great tips on where to go and what to see. We would never have visited Pyrgos otherwise, and this is where we had our best meal in Greece - better than Athens!
Had a wonderful 3 days stay at this villa facing the blue sea & just a few steps away from the famous blue domes. Fanis arranged the airport transfer for our group from the airport & met us in the area where it is inaccessible by car. The walk to the villa is fine but the steps going to the cave-house is very steep so be ready with your comfy sneakers. We arrived around 9:30pm & there was some complimentary wine & a bottle of water waiting for us. The shops were all closed so we were starving that night. Requested for an extra bed with no extra cost so that was great. Also there was a porter that helped us with the bags to & fro. It was cleaned once with our scarves shaped like a heart (awww). Many thanks for the great time. Highly recommended!
We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Stones villa! It really felt like a home away from home. Even though we never met Fanis & Tina, they both made us feel very welcome and were available to contact at any time for help and advice. I was always texting/talking to them on the phone, asking for their advice and recommendations for places to go and they always replied promptly with plenty of info and local knowledge. The cave house was cosy, clean and very well kept with plenty of space for my partner and I to stay. The kitchen had all the amenities you need, the bathroom was so cute with a nice shower and the whole place was cleaned thoroughly every day. I really didn't want to leave at the end of our stay, it felt like our little Santorini home! And I haven't even got to the best part yet... The view!! Oh my goodness the view is unbelievably beautiful, words cannot describe how stunning it is. Every morning we would wake up and go straight to the little sitting area at the front of the house and have breakfast. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen whilst eating a bowl of Cornflakes! The house also has a lovely sun lounging area which was fantastic for soaking up the sun and the view. It's so peaceful here, which was another of the things we both loved about this place. It really feels like paradise, everything is so calm and quiet, it's a wonderful place to come and relax and unwind. Santorini is such a beautiful island, and this house is the perfect place to stay to experience it! Overall I would highly recommend The Little Stones villa, we loved every moment of our stay here and we can't wait to come back! :)
The Marble House is one of the best choices ever!
The house is stunning. It is located very closed to main st. in Oia, but fare away enough to enjoy the silence of this paradise.
The balcony offers you an indescribable experience. Yo have just sit over there, and let the deepness of the caldera get into you.
The sounds of the silence, and the blue of the sea are experiences that you might try at least once in your life!.
The "Marble House" is a cozy and comfortable house. It had all the tradition of the caves, but all the commodities of the present.
The hall embraces you warmly. It is an appetizer of what you are going to enjoy in the house. Simplicity and good taste. This two words capture the spirit of the whole decoration.
For couples, or friends, it is a experience that I really recommend. It worth it!.
As Fanis is a great friend I am sure he is a great host as well. I have stayed several times at the Marble Sun in Oia, and the place is more than a fantastic choice for those who want to visit Santorini island. The village Oia is of an outstanding charm and the house itself has an amazing view to the "kaldera", it has all the comforts, and it is simply such a cozy place for having a great holiday! Quite for this crowed island, near to the castle(you can see it from the veranda) where you can go down the stairs and have a nice swim in a rocky impressive beach.
The problem is the house is so nice you almost don't want to go out! A great choice for going there as a couple or with several friends,i've tried both:-)
Fani, I'm coming back:-)
