there are no words, Toronto is beautiful and Magalie & John are good people, friendly and hospitable.
The house is 5 minutes from the metro and you go in downtown in 20 minutes. There is a kitchen, a private bathroom, and the room is comfortable. The two cats are adorable.
I did a study vacation and I am very happy with the position of the house and the services included.

La casa è a 5 minuti dalla metro, in 20 siete in pieno centro. vicino ci sono negozi, ristoranti e alimentari. Toronto è fantastica e i padroni di casa sono ospitali e a disposizione per qualsiasi informazione.
Dovessi tornare andrei a trovarli sicuramente, consigliato.
I spent an excellent 16 nights in this spacious, comfy room, and would happily recommend it to anyone. It's location is perfect, being a 5 minute walk from the subway, and close to several popular roads for restaurants, bars, and shops.
Given I was arriving to migrate to Toronto for a year, I was not your typical tourist spending most of the time out sightseeing. Instead I was spending long periods in the room taking full advantage of the wifi to research apartments and jobs. This made me fully appreciate the couch and desk provided. Perfect!
I happened to be here during some very hot weather, but my hosts were straight on it, setting up air conditioning and fans to keep the whole house comfortable. I was also able to do laundry, which was a bonus.
The hosts are exceptionally friendly, and shockingly knowledgeable. I owe them a debt of gratitude for pointing me to some of the best eateries and areas around, and even potentially obscure things like banks and government offices. We had some excellent conversations in the evening, and I certainly hope to stay in touch throughout my stay in the city.
I had a fantastic stay in this lovely welcoming house. The room is well equipped and I had my own bathroom. The hosts are very welcoming and are full of good advice about everything from restaurants to shopping for food and clothes. I couldn't have had a better introduction to Toronto.
That was a great time, and now I feel I found new friends in Canada. Michèle and John did everything to make me feel welcome. I had my private room and private bathroom. The room is brilliant: it's large and clean, I enjoyed lots of green trees and squirrels that I could see from the window, I enjoyed the fresh air and sun light. And a bed is the best: very soft and cozy. About bathroom, it is very clean and warm.
The location is quiet and convenient with only a 5-7 minute stroll to the subway, 3-5 minutes to Bloor St. with lots of restaurants and small shops and only 10-15 minutes to the mall with NoFrills, McDonalds and everything you may need.
I've just immigrated in Canada and I really needed a place to stay for some weeks. I am happy that I decided to stay here - it was a good luck for me. Everything is new for me in Canada and Michèle's advice helped me to find out how things work here. It's hard to count how many questions I had, may be 1 million, but I got all the answers!
I know sometimes it may look strange when one says that everything is perfect, like it should be something that I didn't like. But believe me, everything was the best. I will recommend all my friends to stay here in future.
Perfect eight days stay at Michèle and John's. I simply loved everything: my hosts (both humans and non-humans: Gregory and Felipe are two friendly but extremely discrete nice cats), their house, and the neighborhood. I had already spent some months in Toronto years ago, and I was looking for a place exactly in their area which is green and smells of the many flowers in the gardens - but it is also close to the TTC (subway on Bloor, bus on Ossington, and streetcar on College) and many leisure facilities (friendly bars, restaurants and cinemas). This time I was lucky to get in touch with Michèle and John. They are very interesting people to meet and talk to, inviting, warm and lovely hosts. As for their house, you really couldn't ask for anything better: it is sunny, well-kept and absolutely cozy. All in all, I had a marvelous experience with all of them, just one more reason to feel a little gloomy when I left Toronto.
Michele was a lovely hostess and this was a great experience for me--my first Airbnb outing! The house is lovely and well-kept, and every morning I looked forward to beginning my day with delicious espresso and local bread. I felt warmly welcomed and taken care of, and there was a European air to the place that made it seem like I'd entered a portal to the French countryside. Couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you!
Nice house and good sized room. Bed was comfortable and Michele was friendly/inviting. It has a desk, wifi and towel, pretty much everything you need.
Few minute walk to the subway and close to lots of great Ethiopian and Korean restaurants.
We greatly enjoyed having Michele & John stay with us at Juddhaven. They were wonderful, considerate and generous guests. They are definately welcome here anytime and we strongly recomend them to other hosts.
Exceptional guests! Personable, very easy to deal with and they treated our property as if it was their own. So considerate they even left us a parting gift.
These are the type of guests that make the Airbnb experience as pleasant for the hosts as it is for the guests!
Michele and John were great guests. They were super nice and easy going.. They were quiet, tidy and friendly. Really nice people.
Very sweet and respectful guests. We were happy to open our home to them.
Michèle has been a close friend for over 10 years and I have been to her house many many times!
She is the perfect host : warm, inviting, flexible and enthusiastic to get to know new people. She is a very resourceful friend and host and will help with any questions or matter you may have.
The house is great: quiet and comfy. The bedroom is large and sunny. You can have lots of personal space but also spirited discussions with her and John if you feel like it.
The location is amazing as it is quiet but not far away from downtown. It is close to subway, Ossington bus and there are very cool and trendy restaurants in the area.
It was a real relief to find Michèle's place to stay for three nights while in downtown Toronto. The location is great, the atmosphere is very laid back, my space was totally respected. And I also spent quality time with her cat, Grego. I especially appreciated that the house only has non-toxic cleaning products, full access to the kitchen, and is a five minute walk to the subway. Anyhow, it was a much needed, relaxing hideaway from daily life, and I intend in future to see if space is available here next time I am in Toronto. Thanks! Matthew
I had a really fantastic stay with Michèle. Her place is really lovely, the big sunny room is just gorgeous and a joy to wake up in each morning and she (and her adorable cat) took really great care of me. The location is spot on too, close to everything you need (transport/restaurants/cinemas/organic markets). I was looking for a home away from home for my first week in town and Michèle's place was the perfect launch pad my new Toronto adventure.
