We're both British medical doctors (we have stethoscopes and everything) who are also PhD students from England looking to move to the USA for residency in 2014. We also run Fastbleep - a health education startup, which you should have a quick look at as it's pretty cool!
We discovered AirBnB in 2012 when visiting Lyon for a conference, and have been enthusiasts ever since. We've travelled a lot of the world: Europe, Australia, US & Canada, SE Asia and S America. James speaks very good Spanish and ok French, having worked in a Peruvian hospital for a year. Elspeth can ask where the cinema is in a surprising number of languages and does not suffer from a lack of linguistic enthusiasm.
Els is a veggie, and we both like cheese a little too much - in fact it is one of our motivations to travel. The worst place we ever stayed was a hostel in Morocco, and will be happy to recount the story if you have us to stay. Fortunately there are lots of candidates for the best place. Our strangest travel story involves a Uruguayan taxi driver, a British gunship and a Cockney accent.
That's all the questions answered except two; we have no life motto and no VAT number.
