Among the things I love are: Books & newspapers; Toronto and other great cities; Cycling; Mint Juleps (ok, I can live without bourbon but why bother); Great bread; Urban planning; Yoga; St. Lawrence Market; Guernsey cow milk in glass bottles; Skating at City Hall; Toronto International Film Festival since 1986; Massey College; and 19th century cooking at the Fort York National Historic Site.
I'm a business journalist who travels to meet new friends and learn new things and I find something to enjoy about almost everyone. Sharing my guest room with visitors with a fresh perspective is like travelling while being home. Interesting thinkers and active urban explorers who want to discover the delights of Toronto are my special favourites.
I enjoy welcoming visitors who are as considerate and respectful of my home and experience as I am of their's.
While I wouldn't claim to live by a single motto, I believe 'Only connect' and 'Love more' are the mantras that enrich me and those around me.
