I am a 27 year old woman living in New York City, working in a museum. My interests include roller derby, gardening, music, running, and eating vegan food.
Very nice opportunity to host Carly and her guest. Very easy to communicate with and left the apartment spotless would welcome the opportunity to host her again and would recommend her to any host
yikes! it appears that carly & jenna had a lot of odd troubles at my place, though it's not clear why, as their issues were all easily solvable (e.g. heaters are in each bedroom and two in the common areas, extra blankets are in each room and on the couch; there's a timer on the living room light, which is overridden via a light switch on the wall) with an inquiry to me (except the weather, which i have no control over, and the tiny black ants, which inexplicably invade every year for a short period of time). these gals stayed pretty much to themselves, though i was available every day for answering questions and making recommendations.
not the friendliest folks, it appeared carly & jenna's plans were working out well, but they didn't share much or try to make conversation. the room is as advertised, with the square footage listed; the entire house is small but cozy and comfy. the shower temperature has apparently been fine for the previous 400+ other guests. too bad these details left these new yorkers cold and annoyed, but almost all were entirely avoidable complaints.
though she apologized via text message hours after the fact, carly left me a bag full of trash, even after verbal and written reminders and agreements among us up until even the last moments of their stay, though both girls remembered to leave with all the rest of their possessions--very disappointing :(
Carly is very nice guest, flexible and communicative.
It was easy to welcome her and a pleasure to meet her and her friend.
Merci Carly :-)
