I'm a young professional and aspiring entrepreneur. The Cottonwood house in Vancouver is a side business which keeps me very busy but is also very rewarding. I am very pleased to be able to share the heritage home with other fellow travelers :)

Had an overall great experience staying here, house had everything we needed. It was spacious enough to accommodate all eight of us, and at a reasonable price. And it was close enough to downtown to make the commute easy. Would recommend to big groups!
We were a little underwhelmed by the value of this vs. one of the many 4 star hotels in the area... The house is "charming" but lacks any modern conveniences that would be nice; like comfortable seating areas or conversation areas. I would recommend this for NO more than 4 people; as the space is small. Also- the stairs leading to the upper level are EXTREMELY steep- so be careful. The area is very industrial... so you need to walk to anything/everything; which is fine as its a very accessible city. The walls are VERY thin; so you will hear the other people in the house; which can be good or bad... for us; it was bad as there was a crying baby for the last couple days of our stay.
The house was lovely and Camille is very responsive to email, etc. The house is a short cab ride to Gastown which is where all the cool bars and restaurants were, and walking distance to a couple amazing coffee places (eg Bump N Grind). There's a ton of street parking. Bonus points: it had a washer/dryer!
We were a bit disappointed since we did expect a comfortable stay for 14 people. The house has only 2 bathrooms and shower in a tub along with toilet commode. 14 people taking 20-30mins makes it about 3.5 hours task. Also, when you open up all beds, there was no room for anything!
It's ok for 2 couple or max 3 couples.
Camille was a gracious host and we cant thank her enough for putting up with a boisterous group of 8 guys coming and going at all hours while caring for her beautiful children on the floor below us.
The house is amazing and located with in walking distance of downtown and very close to the up and coming, hipster-chic commercial street. We couldnt have picked a better place to stay!
My A Cappella group and I stayed here for five days, and I wouldn't have preferred to live anywhere else. Camille and Alex made it possible for a group of poor and broke college students to feel as if we were living in a five star hotel during our spring break tour in Vancouver. The location is amazing, it's close to pretty much everything, and not to mention an icecream store with 218 flavors!!! I loved the house, and I would definitely come again! :)
The apt. was left in perfect condition. Thank you!
