Sofia's apartment is exactly as advertised- it was really lovely and we had a wonderful time there. The apartment was clean and well supplied and Sofia was really helpful- providing us with lots of information about Lisbon. The terrace was absolutely amazing.
The location is ideal for exploring the city, right by the tram line. And there are convenience stores near by.
I would recommend Lisbon, the apartment and Sofia as a host to everyone.
We spent a wonderful week at Sophia's house, which is in a veeery strategic position as it's 10 minutes walk from Chado (center, shops and turistic stuff) and from Bairro Alto (clubs and night life). Tram 28 is so close and strategic to go to almost every turistic interest!
The house is clean, tidy, fresh and confortable. The terrace is sooo special.
The only peculiar thing is the stair to the upper level that is quite steep, so... pay attention!!
We will be back for sure in Sophia's place when we'll visit again Lisbao.

We stayed at Sofia's apartment for six nights in June, and we loved it! Sofia met us when we arrived (it was 10.30pm!) and she gave us lots of useful information about the area and Lisbon. She was very welcoming and friendly. The place is gorgeous - very clean, well designed, with everything you need, including a full kitchen - and the upstairs living area is huge with a big verandah with a balcony. It is in Barrio Central, which has lots of great bars, cafes and restaurants. There's a little shop across the road that sells all basic items, like bread, milk, wine etc. We would definitely stay here again, and I have already recommended it to friends. Thanks so much Sofia, it was great to meet you!
Thank you very much Sofia for this fabulous stay! The apartment is really beautyful and quiet, with a large terrace. This is an ideal location in the center for visited Lisboa. We would certainly come back when staying in Lisboa!
The duplex was very charming and comfortable. We had a great time there.
The location was great, and you have everything close by : groceries, restaurants, and of course the bars, cafes, etc.
I would recommend staying at Sofia's place, it's just lovely!
Sofia's duplex is amazing. We stay for 5 days and the terrace is the best thing to do after walking in a sunny and warm summer Lisbon.
Sofia was very friendly and professional, she give us a lot of useful information about Lisbon.
My partner and I got back from a wonderful ten nights' stay as Sofia's first BNB guests last week. Everything was close to perfection. Her place has a great location in between Bairro Alto and Santos, and the famous No.28 tram stops right outside. The place in itself is even better than promised in the photos - tastefully decorated, bright and recently refurbished without losing one bit of its original charm. For a one-bedroom flat it is very spacious, I reckon four people could stay there comfortably. I immediately fell in love with the large rooftop terrace, complete with plants and a ready-to-use barbecue. Additionally, the place is fully equipped with all you could possibly need for a comfy stay, from new linen and towels, fast and reliable wi-fi to kitchen utensils and olive oil. Sofia even provided us with a beach umbrella. (It came in handy after getting badly burnt on my first day at the beach.)
It should be said that the flat is not for the faint-hearted, due to steep stairs and some noise from traffic and crowds on their way to nightlife in Bairro Alto. This downside though, goes for Lisbon in general (make sure you can climb stairs before booking a trip anywhere in Portugal, and keep on clubbing). Noise was also significantly reduced after the alley was pedestrianized - this happened during our last weekend, to much hullabaloo.
Last remark: Sofia is an unmatched host. She went to lengths to ensure we our stay was perfect. On arrival she provided us with guides, maps and shared tips on where to eat, what to do, etc. During the stay she quickly replied whenever we needed guidance, and after leaving she even mailed me the stuff I had left behind. Sofia is sympathetic, attentive and absolutely reliable. I strongly recommend renting her place. Personally I hope to come back next year and many years to come.
