I believe we all have it in us to move from a place of intuition, flow, being. I also see that when we start doing that, we become an enormous gift, to ourselves and to the world. I grant everyone to experience that intrinsic and natural strength, to really live. But I also think it’s necessary for it to happen to more people.
It get a lot of energy from sharing what so helped me to become more human. The forms in which I do that are (ever) evolving. But right now, I teach qigong / tai chi, organize workshops and trainings, guide people and companies in re-aligning themselves with their intrinsic mission and vision, and I make/share what inspires me. To me, teaching isn’t about convincing people of a ‘truth’, but about honestly sharing - from my own experience - what I see and feel. And in teaching, I feel like a student above anything else.
I love food, both eating and cooking, mostly vegetarian and wholesome.
I listen to music but I don't really have a set taste. If it touches me it's beautiful.
Books I've read that I really loved: Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, Veronika Decides to Die by Paolo Coelho, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman.
I'm not really a beach-lazer for the holidays. I like cycling in the mountains, with tent and sleeping bag. I cycled through Italy in 2011 with one of my best friends. One of the most amazing trips ever.
And I love my place in Amsterdam: a little quiet refuge in the middle of a bustling town. If you're staying at my place it's probably because I'm on holiday myself. Your stay here helps me helps me pay for mine elsewhere. And for all the home improvements still on my wish list:-).
