somos una pareja casada de 35 años.
We had a great time in Roma.
Your apartment is very fantastic and comfort.
We will remember your kindness.
Thanks again for your hospitality and hope to see you again.
We spent a great week in Marco's appartment: it's modern, clean and situated in a good neighbourhood close to everything. And it was very calm!
Our check in was really well organised and Marco gave us a lot of useful advices about bars, restaurants and places to visit (that he marked directly on a map - very good idea)
In case you do all Marco's list:) : we'd like to add some extra places:
- Restaurants on the streets close to the appartment are very good as well: we liked DoDo and Tavernella
- Wine bar Vin Allegro in Trastevere: the wine card + the kitchen and cheese plates are excellent!
This unit is located in a fantastic part of the central part of Rome. We were very happy to stay there. Marco was a fantastic host. Upon arrival he took the time to let us know his favorite restaurants and gave us an overview of what to see and do in the city. In addition, since the washer/dryer was not working, Marco was nice enough to pick up the tab for a laundry visit and did the best he could to ameliorate the situation. He is super professional in managing the unit and I would definitely recommend the unit (which is spacious) and Marco. In addition, having that dual vanity for my Fiancé and I was very nice - especially after having been in Italy for 2 weeks where bathrooms are much much smaller :).
Only great things to say about Marco and his apartment. Marco spent nearly an hour explaining the city to my husband and I; this is after he had waited for 45 minutes because we got lost. He recommended great restaurants, told us the best times to visit touristy sites, and even warned us how to avoid pick-pocketers. He was a great liaison to the city. As for the apartment, it met our needs and then some. It was extremely roomy for 2 people and could easily accommodate 4. Location was excellent and the neighborhood was safe! Overall Marco made our last stop a memorable one.
We had a great time in Rome and a great and friendly host in Marco. He helped us a lot and made our stay much better. The flat is located close to the central (15 minute to Trevi Fountain) and the tube station is just around the corner. We'll definitely book this apartament again when we come back to visit Rome.
The flat was very nice and clean. It was fully equipped and we hadn't to be worried about anything. The neighborhood was quite calm and the flat is located close to great streets where you can eat typical food or drink the well-known "Spritz".
Great place and is within walking distance to many Rome attractions. As a tourist staying here it was easy to checkout the majority of Lonely Planet's top Rome attractions within 2 days (on foot). Clean, cute and has lots of character. Marco was quite helpful and kind. I would come back!
nice appartment, well located near the city center and very nice guest. thank you marco
This place was absolutely great! Amazing location with a supermarket just 10 metres away. Internet cafe just down the road as well and close to central station.
Marco and his wife were awesome as they took time off work to meet and greet us and give a run down of the apartment.
The layout of the apartment was spectacular and we highly recommend this place.
This is a very clean, spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath, with 2 twins (which can be made into a king) in the living room (no other seating in living room). The host, Mario, was very professional, friendly, and thorough. He gave us a great map of the area, and restaurant recommendations in the local area and downtown. He is delightful and a great resource! The kitchen is large and well-equipped (gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer), with a kitchen table that seats 4. Plenty of storage throughout the apartment. The washing machine works, but in the spring it did take 12-36 hours to dry items (Mario provides a clothes rack to dry clothes and there is a line outside 2 of the windows). The address is not what is shown on the airbnb site. It is actually one block over, on Via Circonviazione Nomentanta, 251. It is on the same side of the street as the railway station/metro/bus terminal. We did not find street noise to be a problem. There is a pedestrian underpass on this busy road to get to the pleasant, residential neighborhood around the Bologna Metro station. The location is really a big advantage. The train links directly with the airport, so no transfers. We used the metro and the bus, right by the apartment building. The neighborhood has supermarkets, an open air market, restaurants, a gelateria, cafes, and take-out pizza. The apartment building has a small elevator--you have to carry your bags down 1/2 flight of stairs to enter the elevator and 1/2 flight of stairs up at the elevator exit. The area immediately around the train station/apartment has some graffiti, but feels safe. The apartment had most items provided (including towels--but not washcloths--and extra blankets, laundry detergent, papertowels, dishwashing detergent), but we needed to get soap and shampoo. This apartment was great for our family of four.
