My family and I (4 persons) stayed in Lea's apartment for a week over New Year's and it was perfect. Unfortunately we did not meet Lea in person as she was on holiday, but we were greeted by her Aunt Jo who showed us around the apartment and gave us her contact information if we needed anything, but everything that we could possibly need was provided. The apartment was incredibly spacious, more than enough room for my family. Like the description says, the apartment sits on the 6th level of the building, but thankfully there was a lift which was a huge help after climbing the infamous Montmartre steps. 5 min walk to Sacre Coeur, close enough to hear the lovely bells ring from the dinning room windows. Every window in the apartment provides a stunning view of the city landscape. Roughly 15 minute walk to the line 2 metro stop--Anvers, which requires a decent of several sets of stairs or the use of the 'Funicular' (well worth the fare if stairs are not your friend). There is also the Lamarck-Caulaincourt stop nearby, but we never found a need to use it. All-in-all we couldn't have asked for a better stay! Be forewarned, the apartment is literally at the top of a massive hill and a ways away from the majority of tourists attractions, lots of walking, stairs, metro stops and taxi drivers who don't know where they're going. But if you're in for a journey and an arrondissement with loads of charm, start here.
Lea is great! Loved the location, able to walk everywhere. It was comfortable, efficient, very nice bathroom, kitchen and living room. We had a great week in Paris and loved staying at Lea's apt!
Lea's apartment is perfect for those who like to stroll into town without taking the Metro. It's very close to the top of rue Montorgeuil which is a foodie paradise! Watch out!! Lea was great too. Thoroughly recommended all 'round (plus - hallelujah! - there's an elevator).
lea is a great person, within a few days she became not a guest but a friend! a tidy and clean friend.
It was a pleasure meeting Lea. Such a sweet and kind person. Unfortunately we didnt have the chance to hang out and I couldnt show her around. But she knew her way thru the city and she told me loved being back in Florence after so many years - far away from her busy life in Paris. I hope she has truly enjoyed staying at my place too.
Lea, you are always welcome back to Florence. A bientôt!
Lea and her boyfriend were perfect guests! They were fun to have around and were clean and respectful of the place. Would love to host them again.
