Great apartment. Clean, lots of room, and great location. 5 minute walk to the beach and some good restaurants in the neighborhood. When I travel to LA again I will stay here again.
Jeanette was very accommodating with a last-minute request, and made us feel very welcome in our stay. The unit was cozy and decorated simply and tastefully. It was just a block or two from the beach and a nice walk to a great farmer's market. A neighbor even gave us the lowdown on good places to visit within walking distance. A very positive experience.
Our experience was great! The place was perfect. Walking distance to everywhere we need to go. Parking can be a bit crazy but we got lucky.
Great apartment that is perfectly situated in downtown Long Beach. We have been there for a tradeshow. The Long Beach Convention Center is just around the corner. Spacious apartment with everything you need to feel at home. Jeanette was very welcoming and communication upfront was super easy. We will be back!
I stayed in this apartment for a weekend while attending a conference at the convention center. It's a short (~12 minute) walk away, which was great for me, in a pretty good area. I slept on the couch and my friend slept on the bed: the couch was a little firm, but I'm told the bed was very comfortable. Jeanette was responsive to my inquiries and picking up the keys went perfectly.
And, in response to some earlier reviews I saw, the apartment was quite clean and the wi-fi worked just fine!
4 guys. There are a couple of air mattress that you can use. Great apartment. Great location. The WiFi and TV weren't working at the time.
We didn't get a chance to meet with Jeanette due to the time we arrived in Long Beach. The condo is very close to everything. Beach, restaurants, coffee houses but parking was a major issue. Had to park quite a distance away after driving around for almost an hour looking for a spot. Dog friendly neighborhood. The condo could use some updating, especially the bathroom. Shower had mold and appeared dirty. Only two bath towels in the entire place for 3 days. Could have been cleaned better. Stove/range was not plugged in and a coffee maker would be great. Dusting does not appear to be important. DVD player does not work well. Midway through movies, the DVD would freeze. Thought it might have been the DVD but turned out to be the player. No Air Conditioning, ceiling fan's only.
Apartments is in a great location. IT's a room of the whole building(The building total including 4 rooms). It's a old building.Parking is difficult,I spent a few hours every night looking for a parking space. One night, couldn't find the spaces,I stop directly in front of the door ,I had got a parking ticket at 6:30 A.M. next day.
The living room is large,The bed in the master is quite comfortable.Bathrooms are old too, some old (website hidden) is very large, but due to internet mis-communication,can not receive any channels, and wifi can not connect to internet too.(I see someone had reflected this internet situation long time ago but not solve this problem)
Great apartment close to the beach. We decided to stay in Long Beach last minute. She got back to us quickly and made the experience easy for us. Would have loved a few more towels for the bathroom and kitchen. We went on a very hot day, and the apartment windows are close to the ground, so we kept them closed. No AC, we were very warm. Cool vibe, dog friendly, lots of movies. Didn't get wifi due to mis-communication, but it was the weekend and didn't really need it. Good experience! Would stay again on a cooler weekend.
Jeanette's apartment was very well located, specially, if you want to be near the main attraction or points of interest (Disneyland, sea aquarium, airport, beach, supermarket, etc) but do not want to stay in LA. Also, its a very spacious place, so,if you are travelling with a kid like us its perfect.
In the other hand, parking it is very difficult if you are not willing to pay but a few blocks from the apartment there is a couple of hotels parkings that can be used if you do not mind paying for the night.
Definitely, I could stay again in Jeanette's place.
