I'm from south korea.
New experience just like living in local people's home. Hanny picked us in metro station~ She provided food, fruits and drinks for breakfast~ Not recommend for winter, because the floor heating is slow to become hot and the shower room is cold.
I was traveling alone to Busan at the very first time and was looking for a local busan people apartment for stay to experience local people life. Hanny's house did fulfill my requirement.
Her apartment is located right by the Songdo beach, the oldest beach of Busan. It's a bit off from the city, yet it just takes you 15min bus trip to major tourist attractions, e.g. Nampo, Jagalchi Market and Gamcheon Cultural village.
The apartment is a 2-storey property with shared kitchen, bathroom and sitting place. One of the highlights of the house is its beach facing balcony. You don't have to go anywhere else but just sitting on the balcony, listen to the wave with comfy see breeze. The house is not new, but nicely decorated with many tourist information. Many details in the apartment showed me how much enthusiastic are the hosts. House is clean and fully equipped.
Hanny and Dove are busy, however, they tried their very best to make my stay comfortable. Thanks for the lovely breakfast and the recommendations of where to go and what to eat.
If you are a beach lover looking for a cozy place to experience local people life, you won't regret to choose Hanny's place.
Thanks dove and Hanny for the hospitality, I wish I could have stayed longer so we can have much chatting, this is the excuse for my next stay!
At beginning, the location is not easy to find but soon I am able to find the easiest and short-cut back. It is not that far way from the city center and the tourists' spots as numbers of bus lines go there to city center, and even the main subway stations.
Recommend this place as I enjoyed the dishes made by the Korean mama there. Korean mama and Hanny and the family are so nice to me and I enjoyed a lot when I was staying in Busan.
A wonderfully cozy place, right on the beach with a wonderful terrace. Hanny and her friend were very friendly, very caring girls, and make wonderful Korean breakfasts. Wonderful wonderful experience.
Excellent host. Very much enjoyed the stay. Good quiet and remote place away from the busy part of Busan.
My friends and I had really enjoyed our stay at PinkRoader House. Dove and Hanny were very hospitable and helpful in making our stay there comfortable. Even though it was far from major tourist attractions, the view and entertainment near Songdo Beach was sufficient to allow us to fully enjoy ourselves. Definitely worth staying here! :) Thanks Dove and Hanny!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hanny's place (The PinkRoader House). The location is prime--overlooking beautiful Songdo beach, which is somewhat less crowded than Hongdae. You can also walk 20 min. along the beach to one of the most beautiful areas in Busan--Amnam park (with gorgeous cliff views).
Hanny cooked a delicious, healthy, complimentary breakfast. Her place is clean and comfortable. We had a room on the first floor, with traditional Korean style sleeping mats (again, clean and very comfy). It's right next to the dining room/kitchen, so it might be a little noisy sometimes. There's no AC, but there was a nice breeze coming off the ocean coming through many open windows most of the time.
She is connected to a creative community in Busan--artists, young entrepreneurs, etc., so she has a lot of information about fun events and tours. We were lucky to meet some of her friends and had a great time talking, eating, and drinking.
Songdo is kind of far from the more popular areas of Busan, but it is lovely and there is plenty to do around there (beach, park, restaurants, bars, no clubs though).
Hanny and Dove are great hosts! They carefully showed us how to get to places, and even drove us to the station when it was convenient for them! The house overlooks the beach, and it was very nice being able to watch people play fireworks on the beach at night, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves! The place is cute and small, and very comfortable :)
The place has an amazing view! Though Songdo beach is quite far away from major attractions like Haewoondae and city center, it is pretty close to the train station and the airport and has not so touristic but cute places nearby. We loved Gamcheon-village and ended up staying there for the whole day. You can get great information from Hanny too. We stayed in Hanny's place only for one day but she was very helpful in showing us around and giving us advice on Busan area.
