Living in TLV for last 10 years, relocating to NYC
I'll be happy to host you and help with any questions you may have.
I rented this amazing roof-top apartment for 2 months, Nov-Dec. 2011, in order to have a taste of life and living in Tel Aviv, and this was a perfect way. First and foremost it was like moving into a home, all the comforts, warmth and atmosphere , and the beauty within matched by the magnificent sea and city views, gave endless pleasure by day and by night.
The location is excellent, and ease of access to transportation, or the joy of a short walk to Neve Zedek, Rothschild Boulevard, Old Yaffo, the seaside, the promenade, and the ease and fun of shopping in the fresh produce Carmel Market, at the end of the street.
My taste of living in Tel Aviv at Carol's lovely home was a special experience, I can highly recommend, and will help make your Tel Aviv holiday/experience a truly exciting one.
We met in Tel Aviv several years ago through mutual friends. Carol and her husband are world travelers, gracious hosts, loyal friends, devoted family members, and responsible citizens. I rented their palatial home for five months, and felt 200 percent comfortable, relaxed, pampered, perfectly trusted, and they responded to my slightest question almost within moments though they were in NYC. I almost cried when my time there ended! Because their home is on the top two floors, absolutely no one is walking on your head. The building neighbors are friendly and helpful, and while the neighborhood is centrally located, it has a "village" feel. Recently, Carol and her husband hosted a surprise birthday party for a mutual friend. The penthouse setting was ideal, with people walking around outside and admiring the plants and gazing at the Sea --OR-- inside taking second helpings of awesome food. Carol and her husband's hospitality is legendary, and their many friends around the globe, some since early childhood, attest to it! Given the accommodations (quality, taste, comfort, high-end) and nature of the hosts, anyone who lives here is most fortunate. With exorbitant rental prices in Tel Aviv for terrible places, the rental price for this home is most reasonable and fair. Even, a bargain.
Carol's apartment in Tel Aviv exceeds all expectations. It's a perfect location for someone who likes to casually walk to the beach, pick out fresh produce at the market, or stroll around the charming streets of Nachlat Binyamin searching for local arts and crafts.
The apartment has a breezy roof top terrace attached to the kitchen that is perfect for catching a view of a Mediterranean sunset and for hosting friends for drinks and dinner.
I highly recommend Carol as a host and her apartment as a home base for becoming a part of Tel Aviv.
I've known Carol and a friend and neighbor in Tel Aviv for the last six years. She is an elegant woman as well as a talented artist. I've had many visits and delicious meals at her beautiful apartment and would consider you very lucky if you get to live in it. The furnishings are high quality, the location is terrific, and the atmosphere on the rooftop patio is just amazing.
