I love the outdoors, I am working my second season as a park ranger. I am an entreprenuer and have worked on a number of projects to make additional money. I hope you can look up my air b n b site and view some of my reviews.

Stayed a week at Mike's place and the place was fine. Quiet area and the bus was close by. Mike sent some e-mails with Info and it was great.
I had a great stay in my time here and decided to stay for the long term. It's a very quick bus ride right to downtown but located in a nice residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. It's a quiet house and all of the longer term renters are friendly and respectful roommates.
The experience was good. The place was clean and everyone was friendly.
This was my first experience renting a room in a house with other roommates. Everyone here was very kind and helpful, being that I'm not from Seattle. The area is very quiet with beautiful trails just around the corner. The bus stop is right around the corner and takes you to downtown Seattle in about 15 minutes.
Well connected to the main city by bus. Nice place to stay. Mike is always a pleasure.
Hello! Mike is very nice guy.
He can recommend you for every things: where the supermarket, where can we do some running, etc.
it was a good stay.
This review is for the 2nd floor room with the pitched roof, written from the view of a solo traveler in mid-20s:
Overall a fine experience (especially considering Mike's place is almost always the cheapest spot available on Airbnb 'near' downtown Seattle). 4/5, would certainly stay again if I was in the area.
Pros: Mike was an excellent host. Sheets were clean. I didn't have a problem with any of the housemates (I would be fine with sharing an apartment with any of them). Downstairs bathroom and kitchen were clean (I never saw any dirty dishes). Great internet connection. Next to the 120 bus line which takes you to downtown going north and Westwood Village Center (where I did my grocery shopping) going south. Right next to Delridge Library (kick back and read a book).
Cons: West facing top floor room, so it took on quite a bit of heat during the summer month I was there. A cheap fan solved the problem for me. I imagine the orientation might actually warm up the room quite nicely during the colder winter months. A few run ins with ants (possibly my fault for eating carelessly the first few days), but a few sprays of raid solved most of the problem for the month I was there. The pitched roof did limit my standing movement a bit, but there was plenty of room to stretch once sitting down on the bed.
Misc: Cheapest groceries (for those on a budget?) I found were from Target in Westwood Village Center to the south. Pearls Tea & Coffee (about a 10 minute walk north?) was a neat/cozy location to get a drink. Oh, and the photos that Mike has of the room (profile picture) makes it look as dingy as possible -_-;. Honestly, it was actually a nice feeling space either by sunlight during the day or by lamplight at night.
We stayed for a little over a week right after we moved to Seattle and were looking for jobs. Mike was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any text messages or questions we had. As for the house, it's very quiet (great for telecommuting) and the on-site laundry was a huge help. The location is very convenient for getting to downtown by bus and to the Avalon area for groceries, etc. Thanks again!
Had a great stay here in Mike's West Seattle home, Mike was very easy to share a house with during my stay. Within two blocks of several convenience stores and two restaurants. Bus stop that goes to Downtown Seattle on other side of block.
Mike is a great guy! His home is very laid back, affordable, safe and the commute around Seattle couldn't be easier if you are taking public transit. Everyone in the house is quiet and seem very nice. Great place for the price!
Mike was a quick in/quick out guest. He said that I would barely see him, and that was the case. He was here for a conference and was kind and respectful of the house. I would certainly recommend him.
Mike came and went as expected. He was clean, quiet, and courteous. No problems. We look forward to having him as a gust again if he travels here.
