Lebanese Italian scents fill our home and we love exploring the world together.
This is a pleasant flat and is well located for the buses to tourist destinations. Also for supermarkets and a proper Italian fruit and veg market which we used. We were a family of 4 staying, which I'd say is a squeeze, although we managed OK. Would be brilliant for 2. Rola and Claudio are lovely and very helpful.
For cooking there are only a couple of rings on the hob. This was perfectly adequate for us as we were looking to be out seeing the sights of Rome, but it's not feasible to do extensive catering.
We visited Rome this April and had a great time. Rola's and Claudio's apartment was absolutely perfect. It is well located and one can feel totally comfortable. In addition to this, we could not have had better hosts than this family. Sadly I got ill during our stay and they did everything to make me feel better. Thank you for everything! :)
Response from Rola & Claudio:
Thank you Mayan! We hope you come back to Rome soon :)
Staying at Rola and Claudio's apartment was a real pleasure. It fitted our needs perfectly. Transportation was easily accessible and simple. Rola was so nice and helpful and we had everything we wanted. She even called the taxi company for us because we had to leave in the middle of the night. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to stay in a nice quiet neighborhood in Rome to stay with them.
Nette kleine Wohnung in Rom. Alles sauber.
We've really enjoyed our stay in Rome. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The cute homely apartment is in the beautiful area with the park nearby.
My and my friend had a great stay at Rola's and Claudio's Roman Arabesque. The appartment is small, but has everything you need and looks beautiful. Also it was really clean. Rola and Claudio were super helpfull and we could always knock on the door if we needed something. We had a small problem with the shower (there was no warm water), but they immediatly came to fix it. Also they allowed us to check-in early and check-out late. Because the appartment isn't directly in the center, it was really quiet at night. There were also some great restaurants in the nearby area and an adorable little market. I would definitly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Rome and wants to see more than just the touristic spots.
Rola and Claudio's apartment has been my favorite airbnb lodging. Extremely clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with friendly and accommodating hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. The kitchen is more than sufficient for preparing your own meals and there is a large grocery store a few blocks away.
We had the chance to stay at Rula and Claudio's flat two weeks ago.
We highly recommend to stay at their place, as it is a very comfortable, cosy, clean, well located, near the most interesting spots in Roma like Villa Borghese, the old city with all the amazing sights...On top of this, Rula and Claudio are very kind, generous, and helpful hosts. We will keep very nice memories from our stay in their flat. We look forward to going back there! thank you guys..Ci veddiamo
Response from Rola & Claudio:
Thank you Mathilde and Iyade! We loved having you as our guests and hope to see you again soon. Rome or Paris:)
We stayed in Roman Arabesque for 5 nights in the end of December 2013. Our stay was amazing!
Rola met us and she was very friendly, polite and very-very helpful! Rola gave us everything we could need – maps, guards, advices. The apartment was very clean, cozy and comfortable! There were everything for cooking, for sleeping, for taking shower! The design is wonderful!
The apartment is very well located – Termini is just 20 min walk (or it’s possible to take a direct bus). Beautiful park Villa Borghese with famous museum Gelleria Borghese is very close to the apartment – just 5 minutes walk. Also it’s very close to many other tourist attractions – Spanish stairs, Piazza del Popolo, Fontana di Trevi – just take a walk around!
Rola and Claudio, thank you very much for a pleasant stay and unforgettable holidays in Rome!
Response from Rola & Claudio:
Thank you so much Polina! It was a real pleasure having you as our guests. We hope to see you again in Rome and wish you all the best!
Rola & Caludio were excellent guests! they were both really good with communications, really respectful of my properties, treated my apt like their own, they made the bed/washed the dishes, took out the trash, left me the sweetest note (and even went above and beyond to try to take care of my fish). I highly recommend them as guests for your apt. Thank you for being so awesome, hopefully to have you as guest again in the future.
We loved hosting Rola and Claudio! They were easy to coordinate with and very responsive. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived home, they are very tidy. We highly recommend them as guests for other hosts.
Me and Rola known each other while in Lebanon, we visited each other often. We are a married couple in the 30's. We stayed three nights in rome to explore the major sights of the city. Claudio & Rola have been very helpful with directions and very friendly young hosts, Their apartement is located in a residential area, close to villa borghese and bus/tram station. It is a cozy , small studio apartment, nicely decorated with warm colors and moroccan accents with all the basic needs. It has a main room with a sofa bed for a couple, a small extension private room with another interesting colorful double bed (which you have to climb up to), a new toilet with a great shower; theres also a mini kitchenette inside the main room with a table for two and some tableware, and a gas stove; a small TV, and a small washing machine (which is a plus), we didnt need to use it though.
The apartement is located 10 minutes walk from the beautiful villa borghese, and 10 minute walk from Regina Marghuirita bus/tram station. You can take tram 3 directly to the colloseum , or tram 19 directly to the vatican city, and you can take the bus to termini station to anywhere else. You can also walk down from villa borghese to reach the spanish steps, trevi fountain for 35 -40 minutes. There is also a supermarket nearby called (DOC), you can find it on your way to villa borghese going to the right and straight forward from your apartment . And if youre carrying heavy luggage, you can so easily reach the apartment by taxi from termini or tiburtina stations for a max of 10 euros. Enjoy ur vacation!
I met Rola at John Cabot University in Rome, and she remains one of my closest friends from college. She is an AMAZING woman who is kind, sincere, and has quite a personality! It was always fun to complain to each other about anything and everything ;) Seeing Rola and Claudio together is heartwarming--they seem like the perfect fit for each other. Both are intellectual, worldly and fun to be around! Claudio and Rola's apartment is lovely and spacious. It is also in a nice area, and it is very accessible. I would definitely recommend staying here!
