I'm an Israeli peace worker that is now on a long private journey to myself and the world. I got pretty exhausted from my attempts to be a bridge between Palestinians and Israelis, and I've done so very intensely, unusually intensely, since 2006. Just not sure what else I can do that could make a real change.
So, in the last two years I stayed for long periods of time in Peru, USA, Canada, and a few weeks in Brazil and Columbia. I have just came back from a month back home, in the hot and humid weather of Tel Aviv and the much drier cool air of Jerusalem, Ramallah Hebron and the Gallili, reconnecting with old friends and some new ones that I've met on my long journey into the Americas. I still find the future there not to be promising, to say the list. So, I keep on going and connecting abroad. Luckily, I can afford it these days, and I learn a lot. Not enough, though, to really help create peace in the mid-east. Not yet, at least :-)
I've met wonderful people through Airbnb. And I look forward to meeting more.
Due to my background in peace work, and I guess also for personal reasons, my interest have become kind of wider exploration of humanity and the world. Since I come from a very hot sport on the earth, a place I was born in and loved so much, a place that's changing way too rapidly for me, I have developed questions about the human conditions, ability of people to change, multi-cultural possibilities of living (I also studied that in my MA studied in International Communication at American University in the mid 2000's), environment, religions, spiritual side of life, in a addition to my strong analytical, intellectual, rational mind and knowledge of and respect to the basic sciences.
And I love also to find new ways to have fun, to be among positive energy people, to do yoga and Contact Improvisation dance and 5 Rhythm dance and to dance to many types of music, and to give massage and to be given massages and other body-works, and to explore and experience myself and others to find ways of reaching happiness in this world. I have new discoveries, and I continue to work on myself. It's interesting :-)
I'm lucky to be able to travel like that in the world, and I hope to gain insights to help my troubled peoples in the "holy land" and throughout the world.
I also like water surfing and swimming and other physical things :-)
