I'm a journalist living in London, and I bought my flat in 2012. I'm half Italian and half Australian, and spent time living in the US and India. I travel a lot for work and holidays, so always happy to rent the place out when I'm away.

Sara was friendly and responsive in her communications. She provided a list of things to see and do in her neighborhood and good places to eat. One place, Market Street Cafe was so good, we had an English breakfast/brunch there three times! And the market there on Saturday was really fun. Her place was just as it appeared in the listing; clean, tidy, and full of light with park views. At first, I thought we weren't in a safe neighborhood because some of the doors had barred gates on them, but once we walked around and got to know the area a bit, it seemed okay. There were lots of good places to eat and parks nearby, which was nice and convenient since we had two little girls with us. Getting there isn't easy, though. It takes over an hour on the underground from the airport, there isn't a stop near the apt, so you have to take a bus, cab or walk and doing all of this with luggage and children in tow is a bit inconvenient. The apt had all necessary amenities and was a cozy and warm refuge from the cold and rainy London weather. Overall, Sara has a lovely little place near a big park, bus lines and restaurants. I'd stay there again!
Had the perfect trip at Sara's. Her place is lovely. The location is perfect. London Fields/Broadway Market are a treat. Great set-up, clean and comfortable. I picked up the keys from a friend of Sara's nearby. Instructions/recommendations were provided. Very easy and pleasant. I would stay here again.
We had a lovely time at Sara's flat in London Fields. We stayed for a week, which gave us a good chance to enjoy London's many attractions. The apartment was exceptionally clean and quiet for the most part. Sara was very helpful and friendly via email. Sara provided more than ample information regarding transportation and the surrounding neighborhood, answering our questions promptly.
London Fields is a vibrant neighborhood with a lot to offer on its own, should you tire of dealing with the crowds in the more touristed areas. Be sure to try the e5 bakery, just next to the train station, which has tasty fresh sourdough and whole wheat breads. London Fields also has several craft breweries. We also liked the Broadway market and strolled along Regent's canal.
If you end up staying at Sara's flat, I'd recommend taking the bus into town rather than walking over to the tube. Sara provided a lot of information about which buses go where but some reason we hiked over to Bethnall Green (20-25 mins) the first few days to take the tube, which (in many cases) turned out to be more time-consuming and costly than just figuring out the proper bus (of which there are many options on Mare street).
Overall, we had a great time. I would not hesitate to recommend Sara's flat!
We really enjoyed staying at Sara's apartment at London Fields. The flat is in excellent condition and has a spacious lounge, large bedroom and a kitchen with everything to meet your needs. It was attractively furnished and decorated and was definitely a home away from home. Sara provided very clear directions to get there from Heathrow which were very helpful. Her transport information in the local area was also useful as were the restaurant and market recommendations. The area is terrific with Broadway market a five minute walk away and the lovely park outside your door. The train is also five minutes walk through the park, so it easy to get to Liverpool station and the tube. We would probably not have visited this area if not for staying there, and it gave us a real sense of a lively area that many young people are moving to. The coffee shops and pubs are excellent in the area.
I'm so pleased with my experience at Sara's flat. It was very cozy and tidy. Wonderful light and view of the park. Sara was a very lovely host and her joyful and caring personality can be felt in the flat. Highly recommended !
We had a great time staying at Sara's. Her flat was nice, clean and very quiet. It is also well-located from our point of view : not full of tourists and with a view on the park! Although there is no tube station nearby, this wasn't a problem as a train and an overground line are respectively 5 and 10-15 minutes away from her flat and there are also lots of buses. Finally Sara was very polite and friendly in all her communications and always quick to answer. So in short I highly recommend her flat.
We loved this flat in one of the most vibrant areas of east london. The flat was so comfortable, immaculate and quiet - I'd definitely stay here again and recommend Sara's property! We had all the information we needed and Sara was quick to respond to any requests we had, as well as providing detailed transport information for the local area - thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sara's flat. We were thrilled to discover this quiet and pretty area of London we didn't know well.
Sara left us a document with practicle informations about the neighbourhood, how to get to the different spots in London with the buses, how the equipment of the flat works... All very clear and easy to understand.
And the flat was as shown on the pictures, very clean and spacious, perfect for two !
Just one very little thing, but it is really not a big deal: if ever you are lucky enough to have a good weather while staying in London, as the bed is just next to a window and the blind is not really blocking-out the light, you might wake-up earlier than you'd want, but a simple eye mask should do good.
In the end, we definitely recommend !
