A novice here. My friend from Sydney, Australia who stayed in NYC for 10 days recommended Airbnb a while a go, but it wasn't until today that I decided to join.
I am a graduate (MBA) international student from Papua New Guinea currently studying in Southern California. I live in Norco, California. I am a mature, well-rounded, friendly, cultured, well-travelled, open-minded, easy going, organized, adventurous, sociable, honest and considerate young man. My hobbies vary a great deal from outdoor activities to the pursuits of the cities. Few to name are: hiking, skiing, backpacking, camping, kayaking, swimming, cooking, gardening, reading, writing, photography, tennis, soccer, rugby, museums, theatres, architecture, history, geography, languages, art, classical music, and more....I admit that one of the most exotic frontiers on earth is my own country- Papua New Guinea. My best outdoor experience is backpacking in the European Alps last summer (2011) for 8 weeks and climbing Zugspitze in Germany.
I like meeting new people of different cultural backgrounds and making new friends. I travel quite simple and light and often solo. With my student budget, I prefer economy over luxury as long as it's safe and comfortable. I speak English, Pidgin, and two other local venaculars from my country. I am currently self-studying Spanish and French. I will defninitely need some help in the latter two. lol!
My motto is to be good and responsible, treat others well, live simple and healthy, be happy, have fun, and enjoy life.
