Super! Maud est tres disponible et l'appartement est top, en plus d'etre tres bien placé!
PERFECT stay in all respects!! Maud was wonderful and accommodating beyond!! Excellent communication!! I would love to stay at her place anytime again!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Très bel appartement conforme à la description, très bon contact. Rien à dire, je n'hésiterai pas à repasser par Maud pour un logement sur Paris.
Good experience, nicely located (less than 5 min from Gare du Nord and less than 10 min from Gare de l'Est).
The apartment was super clean; Maud provided us with a nice set of shower towels (and had a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us).
Everything was as described in the listing.
Quick note on the bed: it is a a real bed but made out of a Japanese style futon; it can be a little hard if you are not used to it. But the bed can be made softer by putting an extra mattress on top (extra mattress from the sofa-bad in the kitchen); this totally fixed it for my gf and I.
We had a lovely time in Paris staying at Maud's apartment. There is a beautiful character to the place and it has a spacious but very cosy feel. The location is very handy - close to Gare du Nord station, a major hub for many metro lines and a departure point for the major airport RER trains. It's also walking distance to Canal St Martin area - where there are lots of hip and cool shops and cafes to be found. And Montmarte was much closer than we expected too (a good thing :)
Maud was very welcoming and flexible with our arrival and departure time and gave us some personal recommendations of her favourite places to eat and drink - which we tried our best to take advantage of!
The only small downside was that we found the main bed a little too hard to sleep completely comfortably on, but aside from that our stay in in Maud's apartment was a great Parisian experience!
This was my first time using Airbnb, but it will not be my last. Maud was a perfect hostess, and made me feel very welcome. When I got lost and was late, she came to meet me. The apt is even nicer than it appears in the photos, and is in a very central location.
I felt at home very quickly, and will definitely be staying here again the next time I come back to Paris.
Maud was a great hostess, especially for my girlfriend and I as this was our first time trying something like AirBnB instead of just getting a hotel or hostel.
First of all she was a flexible host, as we didn't have cell phones with service, but were driving a rental car from a north western part of France and only an estimated arrival time. We were caught in more traffic than we'd presumed once reaching Paris, and were about an hour later than when we told her we would be there by. When we arrived, she helped us find parking for the car on the street by climbing into our rental car and showing us which streets to try parking (it was too late to return the car and our rental agreement was to return the car in the morning the next day). She then brought us back upstairs to show us where everything we would need for her place was, she had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and even 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, and 2 bars of soap prepared for us.
The building is a beautiful, centuries old, multi (4?) story complex with a tiny elevator. The floor is a bit creaky, so we tried hard not to disturb the neighbors below. We never heard any complaints during our whole stay there. Her kitchen table window opens wide to the quiet and quaint internal courtyard, or you can open the inside bedroom windows to let in the busy street sounds below. The place is quiet enough when the insulated windows are closed (2 layers of windows help with sound insulation). There are power plugs aplenty for iOS and computer devices, and even desk speakers to plug a device in for your own french abode soundtrack to fill the apartment. She helped us with using her coffee maker, stove, and small fridge. There is a small convenience store next door, a boulangerie at the end of the block, and the Gare du Nord train station a block away. She also left us with metro maps, street maps, and local restaurant suggestions. We hope all AirBnB experiences would be at least as pleasant!
As lovely as I remembered from my last visit. Such a great place to stay and always a pleasure to see Maud again.
The flat is very nice, roomy and cozy at the same time, with real Parisian ambiance. It's conveniently located within reach to pretty much everything (subway and RER is just 5 min away). Last but not least, Maud is incredible nice person and easy to deal with. Thank you, Maud! We had a very pleasant stay at your place. I will definitely try to book this place again.
Maud is the most generous person I know. She would do anything to please the people she loves, and the people she hosts. Her place is charming and comfortable, located in the center of Paris. I guess she s also the best city guide you can find : from her you can get advise to find the best plate of oysters/charcuterie/cheese & wine depending of your state of mood! Outgoing and curious, she knows the city and will be delighted to share with you her secret addresses that will make your stay off the beaten trancks unforgettable!
Maud est une fille super, ses animaux aussi ! L'appart est carrément joli, très bien agencé, très bien situé, idéal pour découvrir Paris !
