We stayed at Judah's apartment for two weeks over June/ July.
Judah was a lovely host, very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was tidy, however it was very dusty and had not been cleaned, and the same sheets were left on the bed from the last guest.
Being summer, it was very hot and Judah explained that if we wanted to use the air conditioning we would have to pay an extra $50, which had not been included in the original price.
There was also no internet in the apartment as had been specified on the AirBnB listing. This was very disappointing as it was one of the deciding factors in booking this apartment.
The two of us who stayed at Judah's Williamsburg Brooklyn Apartment loved it and would recommend it highly! It was our first experience with AirBnB and I will definitely continue to use the service. The apartment was just as it is shown in the photos, clean, spacious, uncluttered, artfully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the shower nice and hot... The place is close to several subway lines as previously mentioned, and good restaurants and cool stores. Getting there and getting the keys was easy, as was checking out. Absolutely no problems. Wifi wasn't available when we were there but there's a great little neighborhood public library within a 5 minutes' walk (Division Ave) with free wifi access. Thank you Judah for a great stay in Brooklyn!
great place to stay. close to the train so it was a short ride in to manhattan. would stay here again.
Judah was an incredible host and seemed like a really nice, funny guy in the short time that we met him. The place is in a great location and is the perfect oasis in between doing stuff. Of course, the neighborhood's great as well and it's nice that it's close to both the JMZ, the L and the G, so getting around was easy. All in all, I'd definitely rent here again next time I am in New York.
