I would describe myself as food savorer, traveler, and pusher of boundaries. I work as a video journalist and travel a lot, both for work and pleasure, but DC is HOME. I'm from Europe but have lived in DC for 11 years and have loved every moment of it.
During my travels I've stayed in many types of places - all of which has helped determine the way I host and leave my place for my guests. Not only as far as cleanliness, having access to everything you would normally use in your home, and a responsive host, but more importantly, a feeling of mutual trust. I think that is what makes us all feel comfortable using airbnb - and the fact that we can avoid the sterile hotel rooms (and insane prices).
I truly hope my condo and my style of hosting can be all that you wish for because there is nothing worse than not looking forward to coming "home" after a long day sightseeing on foot.
I'm very excited that Washington has finally restored its bad reputation from the 80s/90s and become a wonderful destination for people from allover the world! So many hidden foodie gems, the wonderful diversity, the beautiful trails for hiking or biking, AND all the amazing historic sites. I can help you locate those ;)
WELCOME to my humble abode and the nation's capital!
