Very nice guests who took great car of the apartment. Definitely recommending to future hostese. Thanks again!!!
The apartment is exactly as described and in the perfect location! An great value!
Was at my house. And all went well! although I have thought he had damaged something. but really I saw that he had not done nothing,
I truly enjoyed having Michael as a guest. He has a great personality and is very easy to get along with. As a guest he respects the space, cleans up and leaves things tidy. Michael's a great guest and I highly recommend him.
Michael broke my antique soap dish, hid it under paper towels, blamed it
on my placement when I asked him about it, refused to reimburse me for it,
insulted me and my decor, and then left me a negative review. He said it
was like a hotel and hotels don't contact you to tell you when you break
things. Unfortunately, it's my house and personal effects with sentiment
and memories (and hotels simply bill you for broken items). He said broken
items are "normal wear and tear" and that the decor "looked cheap anyway
like it was worth 50 cents from a flea market." Although I extended a
discounted rate for his stay, per his request, and gave him an extremely
late checkout, he stated that the reason he couldn't justify reimbursing me
for the broken item was because it was already expensive to stay at my
place. ? Apparently his philosophy, with regard to staying at your house,
is that "it's like a hotel." If he breaks things or leaves the bedroom in
an unsanitary fashion, it's simply "normal wear and tear." It's the first
time in over a year of renting to polite and considerate guests for me to
receive an unsatisfactory review or an insult. I wouldn't call that normal.
Aside from all of this, Michael seemed to be polite enough beforehand.
