Growing older and wiser by the day while enjoying life more! I came to La Paz over 25 years ago when most streets were white sand and there were few street signs. I first energetically-restored apartments then opened the first real estate brokerage in La Paz. One of my most interesting listings was what would later become La Casa Mexicana! When I bought the casa, 'she' was in ruin but now, after nearly 17 years of hard work and investment, the old house has been restored and transformed by a true labor of love: my love of color and through the creative process. Today, in addition to operating La Casa Mexicana, I work as unpaid director of a marvelous non-profit project in Guatemala where, each year, we will receive over 4,000 at-risk indigenous children for a week's joy and education at Niños del Lago, located in a natural forest, in the beautiful Guatemalan Highlands, overlooking Lake Atitlan.
