I am currently living in Tel Aviv, Israel, having moved here in May 2012 from New Orleans, U.S.A. I'm not from either city originally, but rather was born in a small town in Wisconsin. I work in the field of International Education and study Intercultural Relations. My work, my studies, and my personal interests have taken me to many amazing places: rice terraces in the Philippines, the pyramids in Egypt, art squats in Germany, volcanic lakes in Nicaragua, and wonderful cities and towns across the U.S.A. Travel has always been an important part of my life, but I often say that I can't decide which I love more: traveling or coming home after.
In addition to travel, I enjoy: stimulating conversation, great music, good food, and strong coffee. Other interests include art and film, quirky sightseeing, and bicycling.
