I'm a displaced New Yorker living in Tel Aviv, thousands of miles away from a decent slice of pizza and the nearest baseball stadium.
I travel a lot and love staying in well designed spaces with character in "real neighborhoods", as opposed to touristy places that lack charm. If there are beautiful buildings with great places to eat and drink nearby, this is optimum. For me, there's no better way to learn about a new place than through its cuisine and living spaces. I'm a big walker and urbanite, so being in the heart of the city is always preferred. I like to become a "local" after a few short days.
I enjoy hosting people and help them learn and unlock the city and really appreciate those who do the (website hidden) and dining out are passions of mine, so you'll definitely eat well while staying at one of my places. I've traveled extensively and lived in a number of cities throughout the world, so I'm always happy to be a resource to fellow travelers.
