Myres Hotel Residence B&B
Accommodation was exactly as we had expected.
The hotel personnel, Sergio and Achilles, made an extra effort to have me feel welcome.
The hotel was further from the center of Cassino than I imagined which was a problem for me because I didn't have a car. The hotel was unwilling to terminate my month-long contract earlier and pay some of the money back, so that I could have moved closer to the center. I did get it shortened by one month from two months, however, and Sergio was kind to help me buy bus tickets and find out about their schedules. Eventually I ended usually walking the distance via San Bartolomeo.
It was a little difficult to find the Myres B and B Hotel but it was a very nice place to stay. The rooms are a little sterile. Everything is very modern and sleek but no comfortable chairs. The person on duty when we arrived did not speak English so our introduction to the room was a little difficult. The use of the keycard in the rooms to control lights and air conditioning was not explained well.
The breakfast in the morning was very nice and Sergio was a very gracious host and spoke a little more English.
