Being my first airbnb experience, I had no idea what to expect. My experience at Nadia's set a high standard for my future b&b's. First of all, Nadia was very helpful and willing to give me a hand. Although my flight was delayed, and I was not able to inform her about how late I was going to arrive, she stayed at the flat. The directions to reach her apartment are precise. I had no problem getting there. Her descriptions of the flat are also exact, nothing more, nothing less. Nadia's help made our experience in Rome very enjoyable. She gave us a great restaurant recommendation, she bought for us a small grocery so that we had stuff to eat once we arrived, she made sure the house was cleaned and she was available via e-mail anytime we needed her.
I greatly recommend Nadia as a host!
Our stay at Nadia's apartment was excellent. The apartment is fabulous! It's in a great neighborhood with wonderful local restaurants and has easy access to public transportation to take you anywhere in the city. And a really comfortable huge bed! The shower was tiny but bright and very clean...after 3 weeks traveling through the area you get used to finding tiny showers anywhere you go.
My fiance and I were our roaming the streets from sun up to sun down and we ALWAYS looked forward to getting back to the comforts of where we were staying, one night we came home early just because we wanted to go to one of Nadia's suggested restaurants and take it easy that night. That night turned out to be one of the best nights of our whole stay!
Nadia is so welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic. She was so helpful all the way through the end of our trip and she made herself available to us for any reason everyday of our stay. You must meet her!
The courtyard (if that's what you call it) as picturesque! I had never been to italy but her apartment building was everything I had ever imagined about rome.
Thanks so much, Nadia. I feel like we really hit the jackpot that our 1st trip to Rome including staying at your place. Thank you for such a remarkable experience!!!!

Nadia was an amazing host during our trip to Rome. Her apartment in San Lorenzo was a great experience in of itself. Right from the moment that we checked in, Nadia was very helpful. She gave us a quick tour of the apartment and gave us a brief overview of the neighborhood. She gave us a list of recommendations of places to eat. She provided us with food that she purchased and placed in her fridge. She was very apologetic about the fact that her washer and dryer weren't working.
The apartment itself was very spacious. Two of us were able to stay in the apartment and not feel cramped at all. The building in which she lived in was great and very authentic. The best part was the A/C that was located in the bedroom. (It was particularly hot during the time of our visit to Rome.) If there is anything, the shower was very small, but served its purpose.
If I made my way back to Rome, I would totally stay with Nadia again. It's great to know that there are people whom are willing to really make sure you have a good experience.
Nadia is lovely and extremely welcoming! She has a great apartment, which is in a neighborhood and very convenient to the main train/bus terminal. There were excellent restaurants nearby that she recommended. It was a perfect place to stay. And added bonus--elevator to the apartment.
Nadia's place is very nice, in a good location, easy bus rides to historic sites. She was so kind and generous when we met her, definitely helpful and welcoming! It's nice to have a whole place to yourself with a kitchen, etc. The shower was a little tricky, but worked just fine once you figured it out! I would stay here again if in Rome, it was an easy place to get to, comfortable, and safe.
Best stay I have ever had! Nadia has a beautiful place. I have traveled Europe, Asia, Central America, and the US and no where has it been so comfortable as with Nadia. Perfect Location. The bus stop 492 is close and takes you to all the best sites in Roma! Super Market on the corner as well as the Backer, and the best little caffe bar! Apartment very clean very comfortable bed, wifi, full kitchen and bath. Very quiet neighborhood, Lots of restaurants. Very easy to get around. I had the best trip of a life time. I would recommend staying at Nadia's to everyone. She even had food in the fridge, soap, chocolates, and towels, clean sheets. Beautiful apartment with kitchen. Amazing!! Thank you Nadia for everything! Un grande abracio e Baci!! Grazie per tutto!
Nadia's apartment is a great spot to base your Rome visit. Although it's a bit of a trip to the main tourist destinations, you're living amongst real Romans and both the building—whose units all give onto a large common courtyard—and the surrounding streets have a great neighbourhood feel.
In terms of getting to those touristy spots, the bus passing through happens to weave through almost all of them, and we had no trouble getting around the city (access to the metro is pretty quick too).
The apartment itself is decorated in a really fun way, with lots of little touches to discover, and Nadia was great and very friendly. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Nadia really made our experience in Rome a wonderful one. She was very helpful in planning for our trip, and was quick in responding to questions. My husband and I arrived at 2am, and Nadia stayed up and waited for us, to welcome us and show us her apartment (she really went above and beyond what we expected of her by doing this). Her apartment is breathtaking... there is a large kitchen with eat-in area, a very large bedroom, and a 3 pc bathroom. The apartment is very clean, and has everything you need. Nadia made us feel like it was our home while we were there, and we loved all the artistic touches and warm atmosphere that has been created. The apartment is about a 20 minute walk to temini station (which is the central station in Rome). From here it was very easy to take the metro, which is only 1 euro. We could have taken buses to get to termini, but we didn't find the walk difficult or particularly long. I would recommend Nadia's home in a heartbeat, and I plan on staying in touch with Nadia in the future. Thanks again Nadia! Please keep in touch!
