The boat is moored right next to the bars if you really can´t wait to get a drink!
There is an excellent sound system throughout the boat and heating.
Great to stay on this little boat. The hosts were so easy to get in touch with and worked with our schedule. There is a cute little dog on board and Damien made a delicious breakfast . There is laundry and showers in the marina .
It's really neat to stay on an antique boat! I would have liked to stay longer. Not far from Barcelona and steps from sandy beaches....
I left my towel with pictures of cats on it on the boat. But I suppose that is my fault. If you see it, you can use it, but you might want to wash it beforehand. I also left a jar of asparagus in the fridge, but the asparagus had melted completely into the brine in the heat of Montserrat. Still, it could be fairly nutritious to drink. It could be like those weird shots of vinegar that don't seem to have caught on yet in Barcelona. Otherwise, feed it to Nelson the perpetually-nervous dog, if he's there... God, I love Badalona. Take your rollerskates.
We spent 4 nights on Chris boat. Damien, the mate of Chris, welcomed us friendly and shew us all facilities. Then we had the boat only for us the whole journey. It was pleasant and funny and perfectly adapted for a bohemian stay! When the electricity went down due to the bad weather, Chris intervened very quickly and fixed it. At the beginning we weren't really comfortable jumping onto the boat but after few days we didn't fall down and were proud of us!
Thank you for that amazing weekend. I had a great time with my home team=)))
I had a lovely room, the weather was fantastic, the beach and supermarket was very close! I enjoyed my weekend very much!
very friendly poeple !! the wash room was out but it was not a problm for us to go to the marina to take a shower !!It not a luxury boat and it s this the charm of the place !! thank you for the "robinson" experience
The Boat was great!
We had perfect time there, come to visit!
Chris and Damian are both nice and interesting to talk to.
Our time on the boat was a m a z i n g ! despite the risk of the weather being bad we took our chances and got rewarded with 19 degrees sunny Badalona, valentines day full moon night on the "Adelheid". we were welcomed very warmly from Chris and Damien, who were super helpful and very cool dudes. the boat is full of character, charisma and stories (if only she could talk!).
we would love to be able to come aboard again ...! the walk to the bathrooms is totally doable and actually very enjoyable on a starry night. we love the area, especially as it wasn't as overcrowded as bcn can get. easily reachable from the city in 15 min max. anyways: i hope to see you all in Berlin again!
thank you for everything x
We enjoyed our time on the boat. Vanessa who lived in one of the rooms was very friendly and sweet. It was very Bohemian! We had lovely dinners on the outside sitting area and it was fun to sit outside and take in the evening air. The kitchen was great for cooking and we ended up sleeping on the deck rather than in the galley which was notprivate. Our friend had a cute room the front of the boat. Very unique and memorable. Bring a towel and the bathrooms were a walk but kept up.
The boat was easy to find and the train left from the airport to the town. The town is very nice in the evening.
The stay on the boat was very nice and relaxing! The boat was a nice old boat with nice interior near Badalona beach. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though the bathroom was a bit far away and that it was sometimes it bit difficult to just wash your hands spontanously for example, it was all in all an interesting stay. Especially Vanessa, who lives on the boat, and Eric were very nice hosts, very relaxed and with good energy. ;) The only thing I regret is that we couldn't get to know Chris and that we just got a late response and affirmation for staying on the boat. But nevertheless I would recommend the place if you want to have a holiday without any stress or a loud citylife. ;) So if you don't need much luxury and if you have no problem with walking much to metro-/trainstation then enjoy your holidays on the boat! :)
I agree with all of the great reviews about Chris. He was very helpful and treated us like a friend. He is probably like that with everyone.
Chris and his friend are nice tough handcraft guys! If you don't know how to fix something they know. Especially roofs and things with wood. Otherwise I can say they are clean, tidy and friendly.
