Calling Brooklyn my base, and working at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. I was living in DC for over 2.5 years, making websites and wrangling with data during the day, hosting dinner parties at night. I studied architecture and geography at Middlebury College in Vermont, hiking the mountains when they were green and cozying up around the fire when they were white. For a few of months in 2010 I lived in Roskilde and studied architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark. I miss the time I spent traveling by train.
I grew up in Shanghai, China, but my mandarin has become choppier over the years as I become, quoting one of my airbnb host, "a woman of no country." I enjoy sharing cultural observations and hearing about wonderful stories from my hosts when we do spend time together.
