We just sayed one night by Judith s place and it was awesome! We didnt meet her but she was really nice even from distance! She was available and helpfull for us! A perfect week end in Vermont
Judy was a wonderful host! Unfortunately she was away for the first two days of my trip, but she very graciously let me stay at her home alone until she got back. Communication before the stay was great - Judy was so conscientious about everything being set up properly and making sure I had everything I needed. Everything was perfect, including the weather, and I loved staying at the charming farmhouse with Lily the cat and the dogs when Judy brought them back. Judy is great to talk to but also doesn't push or pry, and the guest set-up is nice, with basically the entire second floor to yourself. The view out the back is just as stunning as it looks in the photos, and the house is nicely situated about 10 miles outside Montpelier and about 45 minutes from Waterbury, with plenty of hiking and other activities in the vicinity. Agree with all the other comments about the dirt roads leading to the house - they are good dirt roads, but in bad weather you'd want something a little sturdier than my little hatchback to get down them. Overall a wonderful stay and I would happily go back!
Judith was a very welcoming, gracious, and helpful host. Her place is very clean and spacious but cozy at the same time. Her dogs were darlings and super friendly! My boyfriend and I were visiting Vermont before the leaves changed colors in September and the weather was great. Judith gave us some advice on what to see and those experiences really made our trip worthwhile and memorable. She was a great host and my boyfriend and I are so thankful that she opened up her home to us and helped in making our trip an amazing experience. I will definitely stay with Judith again when my travels take me back to northern Vermont.
Judy and her animals and friends are a welcoming crew, available to help you if you are in need of help, while at the same time completely willing to leave you to enjoy the fantastic and tranquil surroundings. Theirs is a lovely kitchen just inside a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking a panoramic mountain view that is stellar. She gave us the freedom to treat her house as our own. We felt welcome and at ease the whole time.
My stay at Judith's was wonderful. I received a message early in the day that she would not be at home the evening/night I would be staying with her, so I was disappointed that I didn't get to meet her. I spoke with her on the phone and she was so nice and welcoming. I had everything I needed to decompress after an intense weekend retreat. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone going to VT and I would absolutely stay again anytime!
Such a beautiful house in a quiet, remote area. Judy was very friendly and welcoming. I am glad my GPS worked out there though! Highly recommend this location.
Judith's home is a beautiful rural home, the backyard of which overlooks a valley with Green Mountains rising on the far side - really an inspiring and peaceful view. Judith is warm, friendly, and welcoming, and her cat and two dogs are delightful. I ended up needing to prepare a contribution for a pot-luck dinner, and Judith gave me her kitchen to use. The bedrooms are very comfortable. All in all a wonderful stay.
I came into the area for a job interview. Judith was welcoming, helpful, and flexible. The large room in this lovely Vermont country home was comfortable and serene. Judith's dog Mo was very sweet. I enjoyed my morning coffee at the Maple Valley Cafe and Gift Shop right on Route 2 when you take a right off Hollister Hill Road in Plainfield. I left my cell phone there by accident one morning during my three-day stay at Judith's and they guarded it till I returned. Vermont is in every way a wonderful place with wonderful people. I would definitely be happy to stay at Judith's again...
Surrounded by great nature, a perfect view and atmosphere to read a book, drink a glass of wine, a cup of Green Mountain coffee or whatever you want, this is the perfect place to be. Judith and Will are great hosts. It was a plasure to talk to them and follow their great tipps what to do there. I highly recommend Judiths place and we would love to stay there again. Thanks so much for the great time.
Judy's place is fantastic, and she is an absolutely terrific host. Beautiful setting, easy access to the surrounding area, gorgeous house, plenty of space in the upstairs area with a private bathroom with shower, combined with terrific animals made for a truly fantastic experience. Were we to return to the area in the future, we would definitely stay here again. To top it all off, Judy's recommendations for local places were spot on. Positive Pie and Bohemian Bakery (open 10 AM - 2 PM on Sunday only!) were TERRIFIC finds, and topped off a great weekend in VT.
Judith is a very nice person, very friendly and warm. It was a pleasure to meet her and have her as my guest. She left the apartment very clean and a Kind farewell message. Nice guest
Although I never got to actually meet Judith, it was a pleasure hosting to her. We kept in close communication throughout her stay and she was very very nice. Would love to have her back Anytime.
As with so many AirBnB guests, I feel like I've made new friends. :) Judy and Will were a pleasure to meet and I just might go visit them in Vermont one of these days ~
Judith is a great guest, she's clean and seems to have a lot of energy :) Too bad she couldn't stay longer in Montreal.
