Everything ends this way in France - everything. Weddings, christenings, duels, burials, swindlings, diplomatic affairs -everything is a pretext for a good dinner.

Really lovely little house, amazing location and great recommendations from Jean-Malo. Thank you!
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Jean-Malo's little 'Garconniere' From the first contact until our departure everything went well. Jean Malo answered quickly to my request and more than that gave useful tips for restaurants, walks and sights in the vicinity which made it even more fun to plan the trip.
The house is, as had been said before, very small, but very tastefully and effectively furnished and everything is neat and tidy. It gives you the perfect feeling to live in Paris and not just being a tourist. A great place to get to know Montmartre by foot. Since the Metro and bus station is also nearby you can also easily each every destination in Paris you like. Thank you, jean Malo, for offering this wonderful opportunity.
The appartement of Jean malo is enchanting. As mentioned, it is appropriate for couples as well as those travelling alone. In spite of the little space, it offers all the confort a guest may wish for, even a little washing machine . It is very tidy and clean, tastefully decorated. We were happy about the hospitality forwarded by the host which rounded off our trip to Paris. The neighbourhood is lively but not too crowded, boasting many bistrots. All the sights worth seeing are within reach, be it on foot or by metro nearby. Though we did not have the pleasure of meeting Jean Malo in person, the correspondence held by sms or e-mail was uncomplicated even if our arrival was delayed. The handover of keys was organized in a smooth and orderly fashion. We can warmly recommend this nice house to everyone and would go there ourselves at any time again.
How lucky I was that Jean-Malo was able to accommodate my last-minute booking! As you can imagine, the house is small, but it is very clean and tastefully decorated. Perfect for one or two people. Also quiet. As far as the location, Rue de Martyrs and the surrounding area (9th arrondissement) is very nice and offers a great mixture of food shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Would definitely recommend, and hope the house available on my next visit to Paris.
A very unusual place to stay in Paris - your own private house! Although it is tiny, every square centimeter is well used and the decor is done with taste and simplicity. Walking distance to Monmartre, Opera and Palais Royal district, located on a very lively street full of food boutiques, excellent boulangerie patisserie two steps from the door. I reccommend this place to a young couple or a single traveller and you should be a regular size, due to the very tiny bathroom :))). Jean-Malo is a very friendly person, although I have not met him, but the communication over e-mail was efficient and pleasant and he provided us with all the useful information.
Very nice guy. Left the place perfectly.
Jean-Malo is a nice, lovely and sweet guest. Also tidy, neat and clean. Just great to have as a guest. I would definitely recommend him as a future guest.
It was a real pleasure to host Jean-Malo. He was so nice that he left some fruits and sweets when he left my home!
We spent a good time and interesting conversations at dinner and breakfast.
Totally a good experience!
