Hey, I’m Tina!

San Francisco, California, United States · Member since July 2012

Hi there! I'm new to the Air B&B community and sure wish I had known about this earlier! I've been living in the amazing city of San Francisco for the last 7 years and am lucky enough to call it home - my whole life has been in the Bay area! I'm working as an ICU nurse at a hospital in SF and one of my favorite past times is to travel! I've been to many countries around the world including Spain, France, England, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Costa Rice, Guatemala, Mexico, Australia, Canada, UAE, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Puerto Rico and Aruba! I like to think of myself as adventurous and have found my self doing various things in the above mentioned countries from studying abroad, hiking (recently up to Everest Base Camp), working in rural health clinics, visiting family, scuba diving, attending weddings and just plain old backpacking!

Other hobbies include eating - i love food!, photography, dancing, music and having some good old fun in the sun! My family and close friends mean the world to me and I'm fortunate to have most of them in my immediate surroundings!

As for guests in my place I'd love to have someone who is respectful, clean and responsible. I live in a great building with an equal amount of elderly folks as young adults, who all greet each other in passing! I like to think I keep my apartment clean and tidy, and love to come home to a nice, clean place as well. I'll be B&B-ing my place for when I'm out of town - I'm pretty easy going and am open to you using most items I leave behind as long as they're cared for (blowdryer, hair straighteners, kitchen appliances, TV). If you find yourself making breakfast and short of an egg or need some condiments - please help yourself. I'd appreciate these privileges not being abused though! I've vowed not to move from my apt until I move out of SF - it's that great and it's location can't be beat!
