I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2010 with a B.A. in political science and sociology. I am building towards a career in urban planning with a focus around sustainability and environmental preservation. I am saving to either get a master's degree or start my own social enterprise, maybe non-profit, whichever path decides to work out first in my life. My life-long goal is to live simply and leave the world better than I found it. I am taking time off 3 jobs, two as a waitress and working as the manager of my family's medical supply business to explore the world, starting in Europe. This year I have already traveled to many U.S. cities outside my own for the first time as I finally began to understand my true passions. I want to continue my journey of discovery by traveling to meet new people, having interesting/enlightening conversations, savor a delicious meal, read, dance, make a difference, and being out in nature! I did not want to travel on my own so I waited for my boyfriend of 8 years to finish his degree in history and education. He recently graduated in December 2013 so here we are asking you all if we may stay at your place. We decided before settling into careers, having a family and settling in one place that we need to travel while we can. We are two very considerate, clean, and friendly people, on a budget. I speak Tagalog (native filipino language) and intermediate French while he speaks English and beginner Spanish. I am so glad to have found air b&b and am exited to get to experience Europe not just through the sights I see, but every person I meet along my month-long journey. Perhaps, one day, I will be able to host you when I find a place to settle in this world =)
