Brandon and I just celebrated our 3 Year wedding anniversary! ( July 30th) We are a very nomadic couple, having lived in Charlottesville, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Chicago, New Haven, and India, yes India, together. We adore travelling, quoting movies, taking pictures, eating new food, making up songs, adventuring and dreaming about what comes next in life.
Brandon graduated from Yale School of Management ('13) with his MBA. I am a film critic and podcast host.
Living in India gave a new perspective on life. We take nothing for granted. Running water, electricity, clean air are all luxuries. Our goal is to experience as much of this world as possible, together.
In May 2013 we finally had time for a real honeymoon! . We have been planning a European whirlwind adventure for several years. Needless to say, we were out of this world excited. I hadn't been to France since I was 17, so we were looking forward to exploring together.
Brandon has been extremely lucky to have had jobs that required him to travel the world. His last position brought him all over Africa. While at Yale, he was fortunate enough to visit China for 2 weeks.
While we both speak conversational French, I am looking forward to learning Italian, as my mother is 100%. My great-grandparents came to Ellis Island as masons and my family on my mother's side continues the tradition in construction in Connecticut.
Brandon grew up in Miami and Orlando, so I feel we are a great mix of North and South;)
I have lived in Long Beach, California twice. Once, I was a performer at Disneyland. It was so amazingly rewarding to be able to perform for The Make-A-Wish Foundation family. What a joy.
Our favorite shows are LOST, Game of Thrones, and Doctor Who . Another reason why we love/hate flying;) As for reading, we are both bookworms. I am an Austen girl and Brandon is a history buff. We travel quite a bit. We've stayed on floors, in hostels, on trains, boats, at B&B's and 5 star hotels. We love it all. We are very easy going.
If you've made it this far, you are a real trooper. We look forward to meeting you in person. We love to share experiences with everyone we can.
