This house is so unique and we loved staying there. Emanuel left us a basket of food to eat and everything we needed to start a fire in the fireplace. He’s such a thoughtful host and he gets back to you very quickly. Highly recommended!

Everything was fine, the place was very authentic with the all flavour of the country life

Emanuel's place is very lovely and charming. The place is exactly as it seems in the photos. There are high quality cooking utensils to use and the place has all you need. Even some firewood was provided for the fireplace. However, the place is very damp and had to use the electric heater for the duration of my stay - the place smells very slightly of damp/mould and the sheets and sofa feel damp to the touch. Place was OK, but difficult to find and during winter heating might be problematic for the whole place.

Casa Lareira is located in centrally in Nordeste within walking of necessary amenities. The large fireplace is a welcome feature in the house.

Great host. The location is super nice, if you like small villages and great views. Services are near to the house and everything there was nice.

Great location in beautiful Nordeste. Short walk into town and well connected to explore the wild East of the island. The house is cosy and full of character. It had all we needed to make our own meals and views of the sea to wake up to. We didn't meet Emanuel in person as he was away but his communication was great and the check in he arranged went smoothly.
