Adventure bugs looking for off the beaten track places to call home while exploring!
I visited to Portland for a week long training that was a mere couple blocks from this apartment, so needless to say the convenience factor was huge. More than that, the apartment is super sweet and comfortable and clean. The bed linens and towels were really nice quality. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a claw foot tub in the bathroom. It was like staying at a friend's house. The host was great and very clear in our communication. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Portland who is looking for the downtown urban experience.
The one thing that people should know is that it is not terribly quiet. I got great sleep with the white noise of the A/C in the bedroom, but if you are not a great sleeper and need noise to be low, this might not be your place.
We had a great experience here. The host was responsive and very helpful in answering our questions ahead of time and the apartment was clean and we felt at home.
The location was also great - right near buses, trains, food carts, restaurants, bars, parking...anything you would ever need.
I highly recommend this place.
Great downtown location. Cute, clean, comfortable apartment with a nice, responsive host. Thank you!
A lovely, clean, spacious apartment right in the heart of Portland. This was our first Airbnb experience so we weren't sure what to expect, but Brittany really set the bar high. Just a really great experience and the city is fantastic too. (We recommend the Little Bird restaurant and Kenny & Zuke's deli).
Brittany's place is great -- amazing location smack dab in the heart of downtown Portland, clean, charming, wi-fi, A/C if you need it and tons of character. Right around the corner from the light rail and within walking distance of just about everything (including the largest food cart pod in the city). Brittany is super communicative, which was helpful during our first AirBNB experience. Highly recommend Brittany's place if you're visiting Portland.
Brittany and Brianna's apartment is so great! The photos don't do it justice. The decor is super cute, it's super clean, and it's larger than it looks. Plus, the apartment is in the perfect downtown location across from a food truck park, around the corner from a City Target, and a 5-min or less walk to Director Park, Pioneer Square, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, restaurants, good shopping, public transportation, etc. You name it, it's right there!
Because of its central location, some times at night -- especially if you have the windows open -- you can hear passing cars, the light rail or talkative people on foot, but that wasn't really a problem for us personally. For someone who's a light sleeper, though, you might want to bring a set of ear plugs. The place is really worth the effort!!
During the booking and pre-trip planning stages, we had a ton of questions. And, Brittany was patient, helpful and communicative during the process.
If I ever return to Portland, I'd only want to stay on one place -- here!
Because of the nature of our travel itinerary in Oregon, I had to make 2 separate bookings Brittany & Brianna's apartment during the same week. During the first, I was by myself. Later, my friend joined me.
While it was technically 2 different stays, I'd consider it one continuous experience in the apartment. As such, I'm leaving a similar review with a few different nuances for both bookings.
Brittany and Brianna's apartment is awesome! The photos on their profile don't even do it justice. It's larger than it looks / sounds in the description. The decor is super cute and very clean.
Location wise, it's perfectly situated. It was only a $6-7 taxi ride from Union Station (Amtrak train station) and a 45-min light rail ride to/from the airport.
The apartment sits catty-corner from a food truck park, around the corner from a new City Target, and a 5-min or less walk to Director Park, Pioneer Square, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, restaurants, good shopping, public transportation, etc.
Because of its central location and position on the 3rd floor, you can some times hear a little outside noise at night -- especially if you have the windows open -- but it wasn't really a problem for me. But, a super light sleeper might want consider a set of ear plugs. Since everything else about this apartment is so perfect, it's definitely worth the stay! I seriously kept finding myself saying, if I moved to Portland, I'd totally want to live there.
Brittany was patient, helpful and communicative throughout the process. Even though she was out of town when I arrived, she had taken care of all the details, making my arrival/checkin a seamless experience.
It's great when you find a good host on AirBNB. I'd definitely book with Brittany & Brianna again!
Wow...words really can't describe how amazing this apartment was. Perfect location (a block away from train, food carts, etc), decorated exactly how my girlfriend always wanted to decorate an apartment, and most of all great hosts. When I come back to Portland I will be without a doubt staying here again. I'd highly recommend it! Thanks again for a great place to stay.
Beautiful spacious apartment, and Brittany was a very gracious host. Great location if you want to be in the heart of downtown, easy access to public transportation, and only 3 blocks from Petunia's Pies & Pastries. Don't miss out!
The apartment is centrally located in downtown Portland, near all the bus lines. There are tons of excellent food trucks at the end of street. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere. The apartment is a large one bedroom with lots of natural light due to many large windows. It is beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable. Because of the great location, we were able to drop things off easily throughout the day without impacting what we wanted to do. We would definitely stay there again.
Great guests. Had a bit of difficulty getting in touch prior to their arrival but they arrived when they said they would and they left the apartment in great condition.
