My motto is "the good is always the enemy of the better," and I try to live intentionally to become better for the sake of those around me, as well as myself. I'm a college instructor and love my work with two-year college students of all ages and varieties. My wife and I enjoy hiking and cardio exercise and art and music and reading and spending time with our two daughters, who're recent college graduates newly out in The Real World. As a side interest, I've hosted a weekly classical music broadcast on Northwest Public Radio. My friends would probably say that my wife and I complement each other in personality type. We both love meeting new people and seeing how people in other parts of the world live their lives, but her pragmatic side fits nicely with my divergent tendencies.
