I am an older adult who loves living spaces, my own and others. I am a creative writer and visual artist, with a passion for highly personalized generally older houses, but I sometimes fall in love with something brand new. Location is everything for me. I have lived in historic places in Chicago, Detroit, Washington, DC , Mexico and Antigua, Guatemala.
I am happy to live without a television, but must have a computer and a link to NPR.
My house is small, so I only make it available to people who want to rent the whole place. I am respectful of other people and their living spaces, and I expect others to treat my things respectfully also.
Once while living in another person's house, I broke an antique bowl. I was horrified, but I did not stop looking on Ebay until I was able to find a replacement.
My personal motto in respect to sharing living spaces is, "A scout always leaves a campsite in better shape than when found."
