I own a record store in Yellow Springs, OH and travel around the country to see many concerts. I love meeting new people in my travels, and experiencing new kinds of music.
Josh, thanks for being such a great guest and for going out of your way to come get the keys your first day. I was thinking the whole time how upbeat you were for someone having just endured that much traffic in the thick of it all, but you were still smiling. If you ever find yourself in Chicago again, please don't hesitate to look us up. For all other hosts, I would highly recommend Josh as a guest. He's neat, polite, and communication was on point.
Josh and Judy have to be some of my favorite guests to date! I think of them like bright rays of sunshine poking through a dark cloudy sky. Why?They arrived during one of the busiest festival weekends in Chicago, the kind where there are an extra five million folks stuffed into a 10 mile area. They sat in gridlock traffic, in 100+ degree weather, and took over an hour to crawl the last 2 miles to my house. Anyone else would have been grumpy, but they bounced into the house after all that, upbeat and positive! The next day they faced a green sky, tornado warning, and monsoon rain like it was nothing. I want to go visit whatever great town they are from that raises folks to be so genuine, happy, and full of life.
Beyond just a great attitude, Judy communicated with me very well, they were extremely clean and quite, and even left a thank you card when they left. Probably the perfect guests, even under challenging circumstances. You impress me so much! You are welcome back anytime, Chicago can only get better from when you left us :)
