I stayed with my boyfriend for four nights. I made last minute changes with the check in time, but Paul was still very welcoming and understanding. Paul's flat was as close to a home as it could get. It was very well equipped and furnished. Having a bus station right around the corner was a huge plus for us. If I need a place to stay in London in the future, I would definitely reserve Paul's flat again.
Paul was quite polite and the location is quite convenient - less than a 10 minute walk to the subway, and a much shorter walk to buses, groceries and a couple of cafes. The flat is appointed quite simply - it looks basically identical to the pictures in the listing. No surprises, and that's a good thing! One highlight of the immediate area: the Black Prince pub. That place is fantastic.
We took the train from Gatwick to London Bridge, went underground to Kennington and walked to the Pub where we met Paul; just as arranged.
We had a friendly welcome and Paul expained all the basics at the appartment. When he left he made sure to let us know that we could contact him when we had any questions. No less, no more; perfect!
And hearing & seeing the Big B. when waking up wasn't all too bad either...
Paul was really nice to us. We were late getting from the airport/ St Pancras train station to the apartment both the times we arrived in London, and he very kindly waited for us.
The size and cleanliness of the apartment, quality of furnishings and plumbing was better than I expected from the photos, and we were very comfortable. The neighbourhood is safe and peaceful, with a warm pub and minimart just downstairs. There's several other eateries within walking distance, and a big supermarket about 15-20 minutes walk away.
The location is great, because there were direct bus services to almost all the tourist sites we wanted to go, and a direct bus service to St Pancras, which we were thankful for. It's no fun dragging luggage through the Underground.
We really liked staying at this flat, it had everything we needed & the area was great. We did feel like we were living there even if it was only for the few days. We also enjoyed having a meal at the Black Prince Pub twice & having the Tesco really close was good too. So our first experience with Airbnb has been great. Would definitely use it again.
We had a great time staying at Paul's appartment!
The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and it is only a few minutes walk to the next tube stations. The appartment is very well equipped and has a great view over London.
We'd defenitely stay there again in the future.
Paul's flat is very well located. There are a few bus stops around the corner with easy access to the main attractions and Kennington tube station isn't far either. There's a Tesco just by the bus stop to get supplies if necessary. The area feels very safe and the flat, although just round the corner from a busy street, was very quiet. The view of the Houses of Parliament from the living room window was lovely. The flat itself was a clean, comfortable and has everything you could wish for including a fully equipped kitchen. We loved to have a home away from home and to be able to cook dinner and stay at home watching a dvd after a day of exploring London.
Lovely time. Very clean flat, convenient location, friendly and helpful host. Thanks Paul!
We had de very pleasant stay at Paul's flat. It is very quiet and confortable and near city center (between 2 stations). A friend of him welcomed us and gave all the explanations we needed.
The place to be....
Bye and thanks again
Paul was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The flat is very well located, clean and comfortable. Getting around was easy, we would highly recommend the apartment.
