Ad, no worries, we will look elsewhere next time we are in Costa Rica. We debated whether or not to review Jungle Villa, but decided that honesty is what AirBnB is all about. The other place we stayed in Costa Rica (see our review of Liquid Magic Surf Resort) was comparably priced, but so much more enjoyable in every way, especially in hospitality. When we stayed with Han L in Vancover, BC, he was also honest and proactive, kind and responsive throughout our stay. We are new to AirBnB, but not to traveling (we have posted over 25 reviews on TripAdvisor under the username r0undth3W0rld), and we have stayed in everything from urban hotels to simple huts in rural West Africa with no running water or electricity. We also have a guest house which we rent out (not currently on AirBnB, as it has long-term tenants), so we know both sides of the hospitality industry and enjoy accommodating our guests and tenants in every way. We are not picky. We simply believe accommodations should match the description and price, basic hospitality matters and if something's not right, hosts will work with guests rather than deny the problems (website hidden) - we truly appreciated the wifi at Jungle Villa, as it allowed us to keep up with family and work when we returned to the Villa after hiking in the park, snorkeling among the tropical fish, enjoying some of the lovely beaches, checking out street carts with coconuts and ceviche, chatting with local vendors, and taking in good food and views at a few nice local restaurants.
