We had a nice time and Lance was very welcoming. The cabin is cozy and indeed rustic.
This cabin was a great spot for a quiet get-away with my boyfriend! Lance and Wendy are super amiable with great hospitality. We were greeted with hugs and a fire started in the cabin. There was enough food to get by for our long weekend stay and the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, there was a nice game selection, and good hot water. The only drawback was the size of the bathroom, I am pretty small but my boyfriend is 6'3" and had some difficultly in the little shower. No other qualms! We had fun exploring the property around the house and the rooster was a nice wake up call in the morning. This was our first airbnb experience: definitely a great one!
Lance was easy to communicate with, gave us a nice welcome upon our arrival, and helpfully had the wood stove ready to light. The cabin is simple, clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for the two of us. Everything worked fine. You can climb the hill above the cabin to the base of a historic water tower and have a great view of the Sprague River. Recommended place.
Lance and Wendy gave us the warmest welcome of our whole trip through Oregon. The wood cabin was warm when we arrived with a fire roaring in the wood stove. Just what we needed after a snowy day out up at Crater Lake. The fridge was full with juice, milk, bread and fresh eggs (laid by the inquisitive clutch of chickens). There were beer glasses cooling in the freezer and the cupboards were stocked with basic ingredients for making dinner.
Lance and Wendy made us feel really at home, giving us everything we needed, including snow shoes!
We had a great stay and really hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the river.
Lance was a great host. he was very friendly and had lots of interesting historical information about the property.
The cabin was wonderful and he had a fire going when we arrive so that it was nice and toasty for us. there was also food for us to eat a delicious breakfast in the morning. No complaints at all, this was a great place to stay.
Overall we had a great trip. Wendy and Lance were great.
I had a very good stay here. The cabin is basic and very cozy. Lots of good local history books and tourist info. Lance even had freshly-laid eggs in the fridge for us.
Lance and Wendy are very accommodating with our arrival time and did a fantastic job communicating on top of that!
Even though the cabin is only a cars length away from their house, we all felt like we had a very private and secluded getaway.
The wildfire place kept the cabin incredibly warm (sauna temp), which was nice in contrast to the cold outdoors. The hosts provided plenty of wood.
The fridge, freezer and cabinets were well stocked, which took care of some of our breakfast and dinner needs.
These factors plus many more such a comfortable beds and use of snowshoes culminated together to help make this an incredible beautiful and memorable weekend for myself and my colleagues!
Lance and Wendy were great hosts at their cozy cabin! It was clean, warm, comfortable and stocked with food for our use. They couldn't have been nicer. They gave us privacy while making sure that we knew that we could ask them if we needed anything. A great experience!
Lance and Wendy's cabin was terrific. Crater lake is amazing and this was the perfect spot to do it from. Quaint little cabin with everything you'd need. Lance was helpful and a very generous host. Hot fire and a fridge full of food when we arrived.
Lance and his wife seemed nice enough. Communication seemed difficult for some reason. They need a few more details than most people need. I would still recommend them for guest.
Lance and his guests were respectful of the hostel rules, and it was very easy to communicate with them. I would definitely love to have them as my guests again. They're welcomed to stay at my hostel anytime. They also didn't cause any complications during their stay, which is always a plus. :)
